Alicia Keys was the third celebrity, following Fergie and Katy Perry, to wear a Spring 2012 Couture look straight off the runway to the 2012 Grammy Awards this evening.
The singer donned an Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2012 Couture fitted LBD with padded shoulders.
Her look was teamed with a bold statement choker and Christian Louboutin ‘Bis Un Bout’ pumps with PVC trims, which were presented during the Alexandre Vauthier show.
That ankle strap isn’t doing her any favours and they are making her legs appear really short.
A rockabilly hairstyle completed her look.

If you have cankles stay away from shoes with ankle straps.
You’re exactly right! She should have worn a LONG gown..This IS ALL WRONG! Her legs are too short for this dress and these shoes…If you have Cankles the best thing to do is NOT work them out (Makes them bigger) ALL WRONG! Can’t wait to hear what Joan Rivers has to say about her on Fashion Police!

The awkward moment when you are wearing the same shoes as Rhianna to the Grammys and they look better on her :S I agree that the ankle straps do not do her any favours. The dress and necklace looks great but the dress does seem a bit tight.
Good look, really simple for a very tacky ceremony. It’s like the grammy’s have lost their prestige. It’s the Oscar of the music, why so many bad looks?

The shoes should have been higher and without the anke strap! It really doesn’t flatter her at all!

The look could have been a plain blah..without the chunky choker..the dress is just a black backdrop for this choker!
