The 2026 Albies Red Carpet Roundup
The remaining looks from the 2026 Albies, hosted by the Clooney Foundation for Justice at London’s Natural History Museum on Friday, offered plenty of variety, from colourful embellishments and sheer lace to classic tailoring.

Golden Olive
Hannah Waddingham wore a self-designed gown created in collaboration with Ride or Die costume designer Sharon Gilham. The metallic olive shade is gorgeous on her, and I love the one-shoulder neckline and draping across the waist. The long panel falling from the shoulder adds a flourish, while her softly curled bob complements the old-school glamour.

This is one of my favourites from the evening. Hannah knows exactly what works for her figure.

A Heart Of Colour
Laura Dern has been present at every major George Clooney event since they starred together in Jay Kelly. For this occasion, she wore a luxurious velvet Stella McCartney Fall 2026 gown featuring a heart-shaped bodice covered in multicoloured embellishments, which meant no jewellery was needed aside from her Cartier watch.

This is one of my favourite looks from Laura, even though some of the silhouette is lost against the dark backdrop.

Lace And Velvet
Following Felicity Jones’ stunning Tamara Ralph gown from last year’s event, this Alessandra Rich Spring 2027 look was a bit of a letdown. To begin with, I don’t find the dress particularly appealing, as the ruffled lace bib completely kills it for me. Perhaps some glamorous styling or statement accessories could have saved this look, but as presented, I’m struggling to find anything to love.

A Case Of Mistaken Identity
At first glance, I would have guessed that Poppy Delevingne was wearing Erdem, thanks to the contrasting black-and-white lace and romantic detailing. However, this is actually a Dreaming Eli Spring 2026 gown. The intricate lacework and trailing fabric make this one of the more adventurous looks of the evening.

I appreciate the ambition, although there is a lot happening across the dress.

A Rare Solid Colour
Seeing Anna Wintour in a solid-coloured dress is unusual enough to make this look noteworthy, considering her longstanding preference for prints.

I like the deep plum shade, and of course, she styled it with her signature statement necklace and sunglasses, but the cropped ivory jacket kills this look for me. I’m just imagining what a matching velvet jacket could have done for this ensemble.

A Rare Brown And Black Win
Alex Hassell wore Paul Smith, and as you know, I’m not usually a fan of brown and black together. However, I was completely charmed by this combination. It’s the brown polka-dot shirt and tie that make the look interesting, especially the two shades of brown and the way the black polka dots tie everything together. This is easily my favourite interpretation of a colour combination I usually struggle to enjoy.

A Tie-Less Moment
Ncuti Gatwa opted for traditional tailoring, allowing his sparkling Apollo brooch by Tiffany & Co., along with the jeweller’s Sixteen Stone and Tiffany T T1 rings, to do the talking. I like that he kept the look simple, giving the jewellery room to shine.

Texture Takes Over
Katherine Waterston wore a forest-green Gabriela Hearst gown with a high neckline and textured detailing throughout. I appreciate the departure from all-black dressing, even though the colour still falls within her preference for darker shades.

Red Carpet Romance
Isla Fisher looked lovely in a red Rebecca Vallance Esmeralda midi dress. The off-the-shoulder neckline and corseted bodice give the dress a flattering shape, while the colour is wonderful against her red hair. Her gold Jimmy Choo Rosie sandals and geometric clutch complete the look beautifully. Everything works together.
