Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

It’s time to catch up with the menswear circuit, as this past weekend brought with it a slew of handsome fellows on the red carpet.

Richard Madden: At the Evening Standard Theatre Awards 2018 on Sunday (November 18) in London, Richard was ever-so-dapper in a head-to-toe Salvatore Ferragamo look that was striking in its sophistication.

Timothée Chalamet: Continuing to show us his sharp eye for style, the young actor riffed on the classic black suit at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 2018 Governors Awards in Hollywood on Sunday (November 18). This Haider Ackermann Spring 2019 look offered such cool visual appeal in the jacket’s stained-glass, swirling pattern and shaping.

Eddie Redmayne: Speaking of cool-kids, Eddie will forever be one, especially with looks like this sporty Gucci ensemble at the ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ photocall in Madrid, Spain on Friday (November 16). Who knew a bee-emblazoned bomber could look so breezy.

2018 MTV VMAs Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

2018 MTV VMAs Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Not to let the girls completely take over the red — well, pink — carpet at the 2018 MTV VMAs on Monday (August 20) in New York City, the guys showed up to the party, as well.

Asher Angel: It’s hard to believe Asher’s only 15, when he has such a cool command of style as seen in this Dior Men patterned suit.

Maluma: White, satiny looks are tricky — on both males and females. But, there’s an “E” for effort to be given out for this Dolce & Gabbana suit and red-metallic Saint Laurent rocker boots.

Algee Smith: With this decorative athleisure aesthetic, there would be no missing Algee in his Moschino tracksuit with gold rope embellishment artfully construed in a semi-skeleton motif. FACTO shoes completed his look.

Henry Golding In Paul Smith & Tommy Hilfiger – ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Screening & Build Series

Henry Golding In Paul Smith & Tommy Hilfiger - 'Crazy Rich Asians' Screening & Build Series

Following last week’s ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ LA premiere, Henry Golding was back on the red carpet promoting the movie which marks his acting debut.

‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Showcase Cinemas Screening: If you’re longing for autumn, these warm hues will get you in the mood. Paul Smith never does simple crewnecks. This one was oozing with plenty of personality thanks to the British designers signature bold stripes.

Build Series: Joining Constance Wu, the actor made stripes the main feature of his look again in Tommy Hilfiger’s patriotic red, white and blue. Do you approve of Henry rocking the tapered silhouette, above the ankle trousers with no socks? I’m kinda wishing he wore those Burberry burgundy loafers with his first look.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here’s a look at the men who have been making the red-carpet rounds this week.

Tom Holland: Joining Pom Klementieff for the ‘Avengers Infinity War’ Seoul premiere on Thursday (April 12), Tom cut a cool profile. I really found myself liking this non-suit offering, as it was casual but still felt appropriate and fresh for the young British actor.

Tom Hiddleston: In contrast to the other Tom, Tom Hiddleston opted for more formality at the ‘Avengers Infinity War’ Seoul premiere. I loved how dapper this striking navy three-piece Ralph Lauren suit translated on him—his glasses no doubt helping the cause.

Benedict Cumberbatch
: Also at the ‘Avengers Infinity War’ Seoul premiere, Benedict stole my heart with this aubergine suit. The colour is just so rich and decadent.

Dan Stevens In Paul Smith – Premiere Of FX’s ‘Legion’ Season 2

Dan Stevens has always been one to watch on the red carpet, so I was delighted to see the him back for the Season 2 premiere of the FX series ‘Legion.’

British actor has never been afraid of colour or bold prints, yet this bright pink Paul Smith suit still surprised me.

I love how refreshing this feels without feeling too comical.

Some might say that the Dr. Martens lace-up black and white checker shoes took it down that route, but I love how it compliments the suit and tie.

Between the Paul Smith suit and Dr Martens, this was truly a quintessential dapper British look and I LOVE it.
