Scarlett Johansson Sees Red at the ‘Ray Gunn’ London Premiere

Scarlett Johansson attended the Ray Gunn gala during the 2026 BFI London Film Festival earlier today, marking the first of two films she is presenting at this year’s festival.

I’m sure you’re looking at this red strapless dress and assuming it’s Prada. I can understand why, as it has some distinctly Prada-esque qualities.

However, you might be surprised to learn that this is from the Hermès Resort 2027 collection.

Yes, I am equally in shock that the French luxury house synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship and high-quality fabrics is producing dresses like this. Not only do I find the design unappealing, but the fabric also looks disappointingly cheap.

Then again, perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised. Hayley Atwell wore a dress from the same collection, and I had similar concerns about the fabric on that occasion.

A Cece Jewellery Devil Is In The Details pendant necklace and matching red Manolo Blahnik Leva sandals completed Scarlett’s look. I actually like both accessories, but neither could save this dress for me.
