Elle Fanning Wore Saint Laurent To SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations Presents ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’

Elle Fanning attended another SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations presentation for Margo’s Got Money Troubles, this time in New York.

To say you weren’t fans of her Proenza Schouler suit from the Los Angeles event would be the understatement of the century, so I can’t foresee many of you warming to the actress in this brown Saint Laurent striped suit either.

Personally, I love the elongated silhouette, which feels like new territory for Elle. Her recent Givenchy suit had a much boxier shape, whereas this look leans into length and fluidity, creating a sleeker silhouette.

I know some of you are probably experiencing a bit of fashion whiplash. Back in April, Elle was serving up whimsy in an August Barron look, and now here we are with a complete pivot into Saint Laurent tailoring.

I will always appreciate someone with range, and this is exactly why I enjoy following Elle’s style journey. She rarely gets stuck in one lane for too long. If you’re anything like me, you might also be getting Elizabeth Debicki vibes from this look. The proportions, the attitude and the way the suit hangs on her frame make her appear statuesque and impossibly tall.

Whether this is your preferred version of Elle’s style or not, I suspect the conversation will be far more divided than unanimous.
