Elle Fanning Wore Givenchy To The ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’ New York Premiere

Following her guest appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, Elle Fanning attended the Margo’s Got Money Troubles premiere at Regal Union Square in New York City.

The one thing you can’t say about Elle this press tour is that she’s boring or predictable, as she delivered fashion whiplash once again, pivoting from twee to sharp, pinstriped tailoring.

Usually, you can piece together a theme or a clear style direction within the first three looks of a press tour, but here, experimentation and unpredictability feel like the only constants. This Givenchy by Sarah Burton Fall 2026 pinstriped oversized suit has no connection to the August Barron or Alberta Ferretti looks.

When it comes to this look, had it not been for the oxblood leather scarf, red lip, and cohesive beauty styling pulling this together, I feel I would have struggled to get on board, as I tend to prefer Elle in lighter hues, which really underscores how much the finishing touches, and Elle herself, are doing the heavy lifting here.

Elle ultimately makes this work. Some of Burton’s more structured tailoring doesn’t always translate on her, but this softer, slightly relaxed take on suiting lands much more naturally.
