Celebrities Front Row At The Chanel Métiers d’Art 2026 Seoul Show

Last week, the Chanel Métiers d’Art Show 2026 was held at Centre Pompidou Hanwha in Seoul, South Korea. Here is a look at some of the notable Chanel ambassador guests.

Parisian Swim Club

Jennie wore a Chanel Resort 2027 look centred around a black-and-white jersey swimsuit styled with wide-leg black trousers and a cropped jacket, giving the outfit the feel of Riviera dressing. There is something distinctly retro about it, almost like a 1970s jet-set postcard, with the plunging neckline and sharp monochrome palette doing much of the heavy lifting. The fluid trousers provided balance, keeping the look from veering too overtly beachside. Chanel accessories, bag, and shoes completed the look.

Soft Focus Couture

Tilda Swinton wore a Chanel Spring 2026 Haute Couture look delicately layered with organza feathers that created an almost mist-like finish across the silhouette. It felt light and ethereal, with the feathered embroidery giving the look an old couture sensibility. I think the Chanel shoes would have worked better in a cleaner plain-blue finish without the contrasting toe.

Riviera Ease Meets City Dressing

Marion Cotillard wore a Chanel Resort 2027 look and, from the waist up, this had the feel of Riviera dressing, with the light jacket and relaxed knit bringing an effortless holiday mood. Then the leather Bermudas changed the conversation entirely, grounding the look in something more city-minded and a little tougher around the edges. It is that contrast that made the outfit interesting, and perfectly in line with Marion’s love of relaxed tailoring and understated dressing. The shoes worked perfectly here.

The Shoe Debate Continues

Go Eun Kim wore the same Chanel Fall 2026 garnet dress previously seen on Bárbara Lennie during Cannes, proving once again that the dress itself was never the issue. But if you were hoping for a footwear rethink after Cannes, this may not completely satisfy you. We were not fully convinced by Bárbara’s shoes, and while this pair feels slightly less distracting, I am not entirely sold that it elevates the look in the way it should.

Chanel Lunch Lady Chic

Gwei Lun Mei wore a Chanel Fall 2026 red, ecru, and black silk look. There is something charmingly familiar about this textured knit dress that recalls the smart, practical elegance of women who always look put together with minimal fuss.
