Bárbara Lennie Wore Chanel To The ‘Amarga Navidad’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall & Premiere
Bárbara Lennie joined co-stars Victoria Luengo and Milena Smit for the photocall and premiere of their new film Amarga Navidad during the Cannes Film Festival, where the Spanish actress delivered two distinct Chanel looks.

For the daytime, Bárbara wore a garnet-red jersey crêpe dress from the Chanel Fall 2026 collection. From the waist down, the silhouette took on this sculptural, almost futuristic quality with those gathered pleated panels and the shape around the skirt. It gave the otherwise minimal column silhouette a sharper point of view.
I also preferred her styling choice of the oversized amber-toned necklace over the runway version, as it amplified the graphic edge of the look alongside the slicked-back hair and dark sunglasses.
But the two-tone Chanel pumps completely disrupted the mood for me.
The dress, necklace, and shades were all speaking the language of sleek modernity and directional glamour, while the shoes felt prim and disconnected from everything happening above the ankle. A sharper shoe would have elevated this instantly.
Premiere
The actress switched gears entirely in a Chanel Spring 2026 Haute Couture look.
Out of the Chanel Spring 2026 Haute Couture looks we’ve seen on the red carpet so far, this is one of the few that truly showcased the level of craftsmanship I expect from the atelier. The silver embroidery across the top had an almost frost-like finish, while the feathers introduced softness and texture without completely overwhelming the silhouette.
Unfortunately, she once again finished the look with another pair of ankle-strap two-tone Chanel pumps, which felt just as disconnected here as they did at the photocall.
Chanel High Jewelry and softly waved hair completed the look.
Pedro Almodóvar joined her on the red carpet wearing Loewe.
