Coach’s Leading Ladies at the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards
Coach brought three of its global ambassadors, Elle Fanning, PinkPantheress, and Lola Tung to the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards, with each wearing a custom look designed by creative director Stuart Vevers.
Drawing on the house’s Spring 2027 collection, the trio offered three different takes on ’90s-inspired dressing.
Taking A Break From Effie Trinket
Skipping the Berlin premiere of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping with her co-stars in favour of this event, Elle Fanning took a break from channelling Effie Trinket and returned to a more relaxed style.
Her custom Coach dusty-rose silk slip dress is a change of pace after the elaborate looks we’ve seen throughout her press tour. I love the simplicity of the dress, the colour is classic Elle, and I’m especially fond of the long pendant necklace and the Tabby 26 bag decorated with pink confetti appliqué.
The Fall 2025 leather trench coat gave the look an autumnal feel, although I’m glad she removed it for the group photo, allowing us to appreciate the dress in full.
Metallics With A Twist
PinkPantheress opted for a printed metallic lamé look from Coach’s Spring 2027 collection, styled with a custom gold metallic Tabby 26 bag.
Of the trio, the singer is the most expressive when it comes to her personal style, which is why I’m not surprised she added a black sheer train to an already striking metallic ensemble. I like the combination, as it gives the look the edge we’ve come to expect from her, although the style of her black Margot sandals feels a little disconnected from the rest of the outfit. A gold sandal would have been my preference.
Keeping It Simple In Leather
What intrigues me most about Lola Tung’s custom black leather column dress is that it was inspired by a patchwork skirt from Coach’s Spring 2027 collection.
Of the three looks, this is perhaps the most understated, but I feel the dress is too long, especially considering it was custom-made. Her sparkling statement ring and metallic silver Tabby 26 bag could also have been better positioned to give the look a little more visual interest.
