Yara Shahidi Wore Loewe To The 2026 Peabody Awards
On Sunday, Yara Shahidi attended the 2026 Peabody Awards held at the Beverly Wilshire.
The actress wore a weightless Loewe Fall 2026 white feather-textured halter dress, with its wispy finish immediately bringing to mind a swan gliding across water thanks to the feathery texture and fluid movement.
On the runway, the dress leaned more cocoon-like in silhouette, paired with vivid orange tights and sculptural flats that heightened Loewe’s eccentric styling language.
What made this red carpet translation work far better was one simple adjustment: taking the dress in at the waist. That subtle modification gave the silhouette more shape and definition, preventing all that texture from overwhelming Yara’s frame. It created a more flattering line through the body and gave the look far more presence than the original styling, which felt intentionally abstract but less flattering in proportion.
Finished with delicate jewellery and pared-back beauty, this felt like a smart adaptation of a runway idea, keeping Loewe’s eccentric spirit intact while making it feel more at home on a red carpet.
