For what should read as a re-entry moment, this Dior Pre-Fall 2026 look lands flat.

Yes, he was there as a presenter rather than a nominee or performer, but with his fourth solo album, Kiss All the Time, Disco, Occasionally., arriving in March, the single Aperture already out, and the Together, Together tour ahead, this felt like a missed opportunity to signal what comes next.

Unless this is it.

The grey wool-and-silk bar jacket paired with blue denim from Jonathan Anderson’s Dior is familiar to the point of fatigue. It no longer feels considered or current, and the proportions do him no favours.

The mint green Dior shoes are the one bright spot, injecting a flash of personality into an otherwise forgettable look. But shoes alone cannot carry a moment like this. I wanted more. Far more.
