Doechii Wore Roberto Cavalli & Givenchy To The 2026 Grammy Awards
Doechii took home the Grammy for Best Music Video for her song Anxiety, and gave us two fresh looks.
Last year it was all about Thom Browne’s uniform codes. This year, she leaned into opulence and sensual excess.

Big Idea, Uneven Result
There is a lot going on with this custom Roberto Cavalli by Fausto Puglisi look, and while Doechii can handle excess, this doesn’t fully come together.

I adore the deep plum and burnt orange hues against her skin tone. The sculptural silhouette is dramatic in a way that feels very Cavalli. However, the look struggles with cohesion.

The bodice reads almost lingerie-light, while the skirt leans fully operatic, with so much volume that it overwhelms her frame from certain angles.

Rather than feeling deliberately contrasted, the elements feel chaotic.
Chopard jewels completed her look.

This Was the Moment
I much preferred this custom Givenchy by Sarah Burton look featuring the jewellery top from the Fall 2025 collection, previously worn by Jenna Ortega. From the burgundy hue to the controlled drama of the drop-waist embroidered organza skirt and matching shawl, this should have been the red carpet look.

It balances impact with clarity, rather than relying on sheer scale. This needed to be the main red carpet moment.

A gold Givenchy clutch completed the look.
