Michelle Yeoh Wore Givenchy To The ‘Wicked: For Good’ New York Premiere
Michelle Yeoh reminded us once again that when it comes to fashion, she’d much rather have fun than play it safe, as she attended the New York premiere of Wicked: For Good last night.

Who needs to follow the yellow brick road when Michelle arrived already glowing in acid yellow? The actress wore a Givenchy by Sarah Burton Spring 2026 tulle strapless dress that transformed the black carpet into a fashion fairytale.
Some might call it twee, but I’m not getting that at all. This is a woman who leans in when she dresses. We’ve seen it consistently throughout awards season and especially during this press tour. When Michelle commits, she commits — and this time, it meant a dress sized perfectly for the occasion: massive.
And it’s not just the gown doing the work. The cropped wig, switching things up from the blonde bob she wore in Singapore, shows she treats the red carpet as a creative space, and dresses like someone who genuinely enjoys the process.
Mikimoto High Jewellery completed the look — and I’m certain that somewhere beneath all that tulle sits one of her watch.
This wasn’t subtle. It wasn’t predictable. It was joyfully over-the-top — and the perfect way to end her own trip down the yellow brick road.
Stylist: Dena Neustadter Giannini.
