Celebrities in Alaïa for the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards
It was a big night for Pieter Mulier, who took home the International Designer of the Year Award at the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards — and he dressed three very stylish celebrities to celebrate Alaïa’s creative triumph.

The Reinvention Of Ri Ri
It’s fair to say that we’ve been underwhelmed by Rihanna’s red carpet looks lately, so I was thrilled to see her back in form wearing Alaïa Spring 2026. The look was sculptural yet restrained — a belted coat with exaggerated lapels layered over pleated white trousers that tucked neatly into her shoes, creating a fluid, architectural line. It’s a departure from her usual body-conscious silhouettes, leaning instead into structured minimalism and monochromatic sophistication. It felt intelligent, fresh, and perfectly attuned to the modern Alaïa woman Pieter Mulier continues to redefine.

Same Look, New Story
You might recognise Stephanie Seymour’s Alaïa look because Miley Cyrus wore the same design to the 2025 Met Gala. But while Miley’s version screamed “statement,” Stephanie’s whispered elegance. The supermodel made it age-appropriate and season-appropriate by layering a black turtleneck under the sculpted crocodile bolero. This prove how Alaïa’s craftsmanship transcends generations.

Forever Muse
Naomi Campbell, the ultimate Alaïa muse, arrived in a white draped belted jumpsuit. I love how the cascading hem evoked the designer’s mastery of fabric as sculpture. With her sharp bob, oversized shades, and signature poise, Naomi once again embodied the enduring bond between supermodel and house — a walking reminder of Alaïa’s past, present, and beautifully assured future.
