Lily Allen Wore Colleen Allen To The 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards

Colleen Allen may have lost the Google Shopping American Emerging Designer of the Year award to Ashlynn Park at last nights 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards, but she won the headlines thanks to her guest — Lily Allen.

Wearing an ivory Colleen Allen look from the Spring 2026 collection, the singer embodied the designer’s signature raw sensuality — part lingerie, part performance art, and entirely true to Lily’s unpredictable nature.

Fresh off the release of her new album West End Girl, you could say Lily’s look served as its visual counterpart: fearless, raw, unapologetically self-expressive, unfiltered, and unbothered by convention.

It was a sartorial interpretation of vulnerability — stripping away artifice in a way that felt both defiant and deeply personal. For an artist in a new era of honesty, this collaboration between designer and muse made perfect sense.

That said, I do wish the bra element had offered slightly more coverage. It broke the spell of what could’ve been a fully realised concept. But controversy aside, I’m here for Lily’s rebellion, not for the areolas.

I know some of you aren’t the biggest fans of Colleen Allen’s “unfinished” designs, and I doubt this look will change your minds.
