Monica Barbaro Wore Armani Privé To The 2025 TIME100 Next Event
Picture me falling to my knees and thanking the fashion gods upon seeing Monica Barbaro on the red carpet for the 2025 TIME100 Next event held at Pier 59 in New York City. (Yes, I am being overdramatic — but for good reason.)
Why? Because she’s not wearing Dior. Let’s face it: the Jonathan Anderson era hasn’t exactly been her golden one.
2025 Academy Museum Gala Dior look? Pass.
After The Hunt Venice Film Festival Dior premiere look? Hard pass.
But as Sydney Sweeney reminded last week — you can’t go wrong with Armani Privé. But we knew this anyway.
Monica looked breathtaking wearing an Armani Privé Fall 2024 gown, which is easily, and by some distance, her best look of the year. Only her other Armani moment from the BAFTAs and that Dolce & Gabbana Vanity Fair Oscar Party dress even come close.
The one-shoulder silhouette sculpted her frame beautifully, balancing sequin sparkle with plush velvet in a way that felt timeless. I know I will enjoy seeing this again on the red carpet ten years from now. The fabric interplay and the realm of elegance is one thing, but something about the way Monica carries instinctively, and the styling which combine to create magic.
This look seals it for me: Armani is her house. The synergy between the label and and her couldn’t be clearer.
