Hunter Schafer Wore McQueen To The 2025 Emmy Awards

Hunter Schafer has a way of making every red carpet moment feel impactful, and her 2025 Emmys look was no exception.

As a presenter, she wore a magenta McQueen Fall 2025 halter dress with tonal velvet panels—the same design Ariana DeBose recently wore in black.

The difference? Ariana’s was swallowed by a dramatic shearling coat, while Hunter wisely skipped that runway styling. I’m glad she did. As much as she could have pulled off the oversized fur, this wasn’t the occasion to compete with nominees for attention. The coat would’ve stolen the spotlight, and Hunter doesn’t need tricks to make an impact.

Without it, the dress had room to breathe. The silhouette was clean, modern, and effortlessly elegant. It’s proof that editing runway looks can elevate them, not diminish them. Honestly, I didn’t miss the coat for a second.

The look was complete with Christian Louboutin Hot Chick sling pumps and diamond drop earrings.

Hunter didn’t need excess; she let the strength of the dress and her presence carry the moment, and it worked beautifully.
