The ever-elegant French actress stepped out in a bold Saint Laurent strapless gown in rich wine red, and vibrant orange. It was a dramatic detour from her usual love for muted tones, but what a fabulous risk — and it paid off in spades.
The silhouette? Absolutely breathtaking. Sleek, sharp, and thoroughly modern. It’s the kind of high-impact look that demands everything around it rise to the same level. And sadly, her Saint Laurent La Scandale shoes didn’t get the memo. The colour wasn’t the issue—it was the style that felt like a misalignment. A slinky strappy sandal would’ve kept the momentum going. Something delicate to match the strength of the dress.
Thankfully, the Marvelous Griffes earrings from Pomellato’s new High Jewellery collection pulled their weight to complete her look.
An updo wouldn’t have hurt either. With this neckline and this kind of energy, a swept-back style would’ve brought a sleeker finish.
