Florence Pugh Wore Thierry Mugler On Good Morning America
Florence Pugh has been taking the Thunderbolts* press tour by storm—pun fully intended—with a string of looks, but her latest in New York City might just be her most electrifying yet.

For her guest appearance on Good Morning America, Florence chose an archival Thierry Mugler Spring/Summer 1991 ready-to-wear skirt suit that featured metal lightning bolt appliqués from the Diana Ross Collection, and the British actress wore it with her usual confidence and flair of someone who knows they look like a million volts.
The vibe? 90s anchor-woman with a heavy splash of Samantha Jones strutting through Manhattan, possibly heading to deliver breaking news and break a few hearts. The sex appeal came courtesy of the jacket worn solo with no top underneath, which is textbook Mugler—commanding yet seductive. It walks that fine line between authority and allure, and Florence nailed it.
For those side-eyeing her recent hair choices, this retro-inspired updo actually works in perfect harmony with the vintage silhouette. Together, the hair and the suit tell a complete story, one that feels cohesive and considered.
Accessorised with silver metallic Paris Texas Lidia slingbacks, statement Rainbow K jewellery, and those fabulous white Oliver Peoples + Khaite 1984C cat-eye sunglasses, this was fashion fantasy at morning-show o’clock—and Florence delivered it without blinking.
You may remember that last time we saw vintage Mugler outside the GMA studios, it was delivered by Zendaya.
