British model Jourdan Dunn is taking us behind the scenes of her show-stopping 2024 Fashion Awards look in the latest entry of The Dunn Diaries—and let’s just say, the vision was kunty fashion Barbie in Dior.
“When choosing what to wear, my stylist always asks, ‘Who do you want to be?’ I love this approach—it lets me embrace my fashion fantasies. I’m always competing with myself, finding inspiration in my evolution,” Jourdan shared.
For this red carpet moment, she and her stylist, Justin Hamilton, used her Barbie premiere look as a reference, aiming for a snatched waist, long legs, and plenty of diamonds. At first, Jourdan admitted she didn’t quite see the vision, but after Justin’s edit of the look, she was sold. With Dior’s blessing, she was ready to serve.
For glam, The Face Fairy (Saba) created a divine berry ombré lip, using Charlotte Tilbury’s Berry Naughty Lip Cheat Liner and Collagen Lip Bath in Pillow Talk Fair.
Even with a cap, hairstylist Jordan Brumant added details with styled sides, fringe, and flicked hairpieces.
The result? A high-fashion Barbie moment worthy of the red carpet.
