Lashana Lynch Wore Maison Rabih Kayrouz Couture To The 2023 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Following the Lashana Lynch’s look for the Bulgari Frieze London High Jewellery Gala last week, I was cautiously optimistic that the dark days were behind us.

As the British actress stepped onto the red carpet for the 2023 Glamour Women of The Year Awards held at One Marylebone on Tuesday (October 17) in London, I realised that I was right to be cautious.

If you were here when I covered Lizzo’s 2022 MTV VMAs Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture gown, you will know that I am not a fan of these style of shapeless, tent style gowns.

The most frustrating thing is that Maison Rabih Kayrouz creates some intriguing pieces, and to be fair, the gown does look beautiful on the model, but it does nothing for Lashana.

Overall, it’s the lack of effort from whoever is styling her which I actually find the most frustrating, and it looks like the makeup artist wasn’t up to par either.

I’ve said it before and unfortunately, I feel that I will say it again at some point.  Lashana deserves better.
