‘Weekends with Adele’ Wearing Stella McCartney, Armani Privé & Erdem

With Beyonce and Taylor Swift’s tours dominating social media, Adele has continued to perform her Las Vegas residency, ‘Weekends with Adele.’

Aside from the differences in the ladies style of music, the other main difference is that you will not see a bodysuit and fishnet tights combo from Adele, nor will you see any colour.

This tour has been a black gown only fest, where – I believe – she wears the same dress on both nights.

One of my favourite gowns from this tour is her Stella McCartney gown.

Mostly because it feels modern with the chunky silver chain detail which was seen on Aubrey Plaza’s Met Gala gown.

Adele looks her age here. At times her gowns feel like they were designed for someone considerably older.

The embellished details on this Armani Privé velvet gown provided some texture.  Without it, this gown would have appeared very flat and nondescript.

Last weekend, Adele wore a bespoke Erdem bow draped gown with scattered crystal embroidery which resembled dragon and butterflies.

For me, this is a typical Adele performance look in terms of it having that grandiose feel, the voluminous skirt and aura of a seasoned performance look.

Those brilliant Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings added to the glamorous feel.
