Viola Davis Wore Stella McCartney To The 2023 BAFTAs

Viola Davis, who reached EGOT status at the Grammys, attended the 2023 BAFTAs held at The Royal Festival Hall on Sunday (February 19) in London.

Purple has always been a great colour for Viola, so I’m thankful for that.

But seeing all those pulls on the shoulder where the cape is attached (and already coming apart on the right shoulder) and the round the waist area, and the line/seam going across the skirt, I’m surprised this was a custom look from Stella McCartney.

Just imagine how amazing this would’ve been had Donatella Versace created something for Viola with this fabric.

That waist would’ve snatched to high heaven. 

Stella expected us to be dazzled by the fabric and called it a day.

Viola deserved better.  You can’t half arse it for an EGOT.
