Lena Waithe Wore Casablanca To The 2022 BET Awards

I was glad to see that Lena Waithe got the ‘it’s summer’ memo before she stepped onto the red carpet at the 2022 BET Awards which was held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (June 26) in Los Angeles, California.

This Casablanca Spring 2022 suits pastel tones, and wavy cuts that create unique yet elegant detailing, perfectly showcases the brand’s creative aesthetic, and gives me everything I have been looking for from a summer suit this year.

Jay Ellis has also worn this brand this spring, so I hope this is the start of more outings, because the smooth retro vibes are so refreshing.

You know how particular I am with regards to summer suits and footwear, so thankfully she was able to wear something not black and complementary with her Christian Louboutin Helsinky loafers.

This – for me – is easily one of her best red carpet looks, and she’s had many.
