Megan Thee Stallion hit the red carpet at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards held at MGM Grand Garden Arena, prior to her performance on Sunday (May 15) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The rapper started off the night wearing a Mugler two-piece set.

I found the ombré hues and hard plastic halter neckline intriguing, but that is where my interest came to an end, because the rest is all typical, expected and repetitive at this point.

I don’t believe her stylist knows how to dress her outside of this ’80s video vixen era he keeps relying on.

I hope that her red carpet style will evolve one day, because we all know you can look sexy without repeatedly relying on this cut-out, barely-there, on-display style.

Call me contradictory, but I much prefer her second Mugler look for her performance.

Yes it has more cut-outs, but this is a standard for performance looks for pretty much all female artists at this point.
