dunhill’s pre-BATFA Dinner 

On Wednesday (March (9), dunhill hosted the 5th Pre-BAFTA Filmmakers dinner and party held at The Club in dunhill House in celebration of British film and talent, kicking-off the week’s festivities ahead of the prestigious BAFTA ceremony on Sunday, March 13.

I have to start off with the chicest man on the planet, Regé-Jean Page who looked impossibly handsome wearing this navy Giorgio Armani single breasted suit with a navy bowtie and Armani velvet navy slippers.

If ever there was a man who was born to wear Armani.

As there are going to be a lot of men in dark suits against a dark background, Zawe Ashton provides us with some colour wearing one of her favourite designers; Roksanda.

This artistic brush stroke Anaisa silk gown continues Zawe’s love for supreme fluidity via a flowing silhouette, which always incorporates a modern element.

The last time we saw ‘Ted Lasso’ star Toheeb Jimoh at the SAG Awards he was on trend wearing a lilac shirt.  He was on trend once again at this event wearing a black dunhill suit, styled with a polka dot shirt which showcases his flair for fashion

dunhill’s Rivet loafers completed his look.

I wasn’t at all surprised to see Stanley Tucci marching to the beat of his own drum by not opting for a black suit.

‘Ted Lasso’ actor Phil Dunster scrubs up well when he’s not wearing a football jersey. He was decked out in a traditional tuxedo from Salvatore Ferragamo, styled with a Bremont timepiece.

‘The Crown’ actor Dominic West was looking quite smart in his suit, but I couldn’t get past his unkempt hair.

Simon Pegg opted to showcase dunhill’s contemporary approach to tailoring wearing this black wool silk half-wrap jacket with matching trousers and dunhill’s Link loafers.

‘Doctor Who’ actor Tosin Cole kept things simple yet sharp wearing a dunhill half-wrap evening jacket and matching trousers, with added flair from his pink silk shirt.

Even a suit as sharp as this won’t render a smile from ‘Ted Lasso’ star Brett Goldstein.

Unlike Zawe, Charlotte Riley followed the trend to wear all black dressed in this gorgeous black mini dress by Azzi & Osta.
