Maria Grazia Chiuri presented her Resort 2022 collection for Christian Dior in Athens, Greece on Thursday (17) with a jammed-packed celebrity front row.
Angelababy is the one person we would expect to give us a princess moment: even for a fashion show. So I was pleasantly surprised to see her in this checked Dior Fall 2021 combo with an ‘I love Paris’ t-shirt, and chunky Dior boots.
I feel like we don’t get a chance to see her outside her full glam mode, so this is really refreshing.
Speaking of full glam mode, Anya Taylor Joy was looking as elegant as ever wearing a Dior Resort 2022 grey embroidered tulle dress, which shimmered so brightly under the lights that no jewels were needed.
Anya gave us some of her best moments in Dior Haute Couture during awards season, so her place in the front row was very well-deserved.
There is a huge disconnect for me here.
Cara Delevingne’s hair doesn’t match the attitude, which doesn’t match the delicate nature of her Dior fringe white silk dress.
The only thing I like here are the Dior caged shoes.
Jenna Coleman wasn’t out to make any style statements. Yet her Dior Pre-Fall 2021 suit styled with Dior sandals checks all the right boxes.
Suki Waterhouse has that bohemian vibe going on wearing a Dior light green silk dress styled with a mini Dior Book Tote bag and Dior sandals.
Miranda Kerr let the floral print on her Dior Pre-Fall 2021 dress do all the talking.
This is a pretty dress, but I would’ve loved to have seen it in a lighter colour for Miranda. Dior sandals completed her look.
New girl on the block Thuso Mbedu was the only one here to really step outside the box when it came to her look.
I’m really digging the ‘90s Madonna vibe of her Dior Pre-Fall 2021 look. The vibe of that era is imbued mostly via the silver jacket and fishnet leggings.
Dior jewelry and Dior pumps completed her look.
In complete contrast Belgian actress Virginie Efira’s black dress and leather belt presented a classic Dior look.
You’re probably just as shocked as I am to see Catherine Deneuve at this event wearing a Dior Fall 2021 look.
Not on account of her outfit feeling very much like a fancy PJ set. It’s because the French actress has been Team LV for so long.
Personally, I prefer to see actresses’ mix things up, so I’m very much welcoming the change of brand and style here.
Beatrice Borromeo can be quite hit and miss at these front row events.
But she was a hit on this occasion wearing a tiers of fringe Dior Spring 2020 Haute Couture dress styled with gold lamé shorts.
Going for gold from head-to-toe, she styled the look with a Dior Haute Couture headband and Dior sandals.
Camille Rowe may have worn the same Dior Spring 2021 bandeau as Bianca Brandolini, but their looks couldn’t have been more different.
Bianca’s embroidered black tulle skirt really sold her look to me, whereas I feel like I have seen Camille’s look before.
