Front Row @ Christian Dior Spring 2019 5

The Dior darlings were out in force at the Christian Dior Spring 2019 show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday (September 24) in France.

Shailene Woodley: As was fitting, the actress epitomized Parisian-chic style — with an edge — in this Christian Dior Cruise 2019 ensemble paired with a Dior wool beret, black leather ‘Saddle’ belt, black Dior ‘Amour’ pumps, and a Dior ‘Toile de Jouy’ ‘Saddle’ bag. Completed by a red lip, this ensemble was everything it should be and more.

Dree Hemingway: Also in a Christian Dior Cruise 2019 look, Dree’s ensemble offered an experimental take on textures and proportions with a chunky sweater and tulle slip skirt. Her accessories kept the quirky vibe going with the navy oblique ‘Saddle’ belt pouch and ‘WalkN’ Dior sneakers.

Blake Lively
: As we won’t comment on the fact that she’s wearing a dress instead of a suit, the actress donned a Christian Dior Fall 2018 multi-coloured embroidered tulle design that got a dose of extra intrigue with the addition of the sculptural Dior Pre-Fall 2018 metallic caged skirt. A Dior Cruise 2019 bag completed this take on modern femininity.

Who Wore Christian Dior Better? Julia Michaels or Angelababy

Julia Michaels wore this stunning Christian Dior Fall 2017 gown to the VMAs, while and Angelababy, and her Madame Tussauds wax figure, wore the same gown to the unveiling.

When it comes to the styling. I preferred Angelababy’s hair up, but wasn’t a fan of the watch and choker with this look.

A piece like this should stand alone, so Julia was my preferred choice here.

Angelababy In Christian Dior – Christian Dior Shanghai Spring-Summer 2018 Haute Couture Collection Showcase

Angelababy was at the Christian Dior Shanghai Spring-Summer 2018 Haute Couture Collection Showcase on Thursday (March 29) in China.

Naturally, the Dior-loving darling was decked out in the brand, wearing this glittering gown from the Pre-Fall 2018 collection.

The enchanting grace of the look was right in line with Angelababy’s romantic, girlish style.

However, I did find the white ‘Lady Dior’ bag to interrupt the shimmering fluidity of the design, as the dress certainly could have done well with a lighter, metallic clutch—or nothing at all.

Angelababy In Christian Dior – Madame Tussauds Wax Figure Unveiling

Earlier today (February 7) Angelababy’s wax figure was unveiled at the Hong Kong Madame Tussauds.

Had it not been for the additional photos, I would’ve been hard pressed to figure out who was who, such is the likeness.

Both were decked out in Dior, wearing a sparkling degrade sequin gown from the true blue Fall 2017 collection.

The look is very much in tune with Angelababy’s graceful, girlie style. But I have to cheekily say that I prefer the wax figures styling without the chunky white watch and with the smaller stud earrings.

You may remember that Julia Michaels wore this same look to the 2017 VMAs.

Angelababy In Oscar de la Renta – Meitu Promotional Event

Angelababy was on hand to help Meitu promote their new smart phone at an event on Thursday (November 23) in Beijing, China.

While some might think this Oscar de la Renta Resort 2018 gown is a tad OTT to promote a phone, I wouldn’t agree.

As you know, I’m partial to a gown before lunch time at Cannes, or even high-glam before breakfast on ‘Good Morning America’, so a big billowing ball gown to promote a phone?

Why not?

I’ve always been a fan of Angelababy’s style, and the fact that she didn’t dial down her brand of glamour only sees her go up in my estimation.

Angelababy In Jenny Packham – Sovya Event

Angelababy attended an event for the Chinese professional hair care brand Sovya on Saturday (September 23) in Shanghai, China.

The gorgeous actress wore a Jenny Packham rose pink lace and tulle gown with a scalloped hemline plus ornate crystal embellishment lending sparkle, shine and glamour to this floor-sweeping piece.

Angelababy attempted to keep the look contemporary with embellished sandals which didn’t complement the look at all for me sadly.

This is where a stylist would say, “never underestimate the power of a simple sandal” – namely The Nudists.

Nude or pink would’ve been perfect here.
