Dua Lipa is really ending 2020 with a bang.

We’ve already witness the musical and visual spectacle that was the Studio 2054 concert, now we have the British singer giving us three more looks during her stint on Saturday Night Live, where she was the musical guest.

There was only one place to start, and that was with her Valentino Fall 2020 Haute Couture look she wore while performing her hit single ‘Levitating.’

This was her second look from the same collection.  This time there was a lot less sparkle, but I was still mesmerized.

Not only by the flowing white fendue dress, which appeared to span the entire stage, but even more so by the Philip Treacy, for Valentino, ostrich feather hat, which moved like a jellyfish as she performed.

This look was styled with the Fabergé James Ganh convertible emerald cut emerald and diamond cluster ring and pendant.

You’d be forgiven if you thought this second animal print bustier was from Dolce & Gabbana – as it sits very much in their wheelhouse – but this vintage look hails from Azzedine Alaïa

According to the vintage emporium 1st Dibs, this piece is from 1991.

I can’t say I love the contrasting corset belt, but I do love the Alessandra Rich chunky choker.

The look was complete with her preferred dancing shoes; the Jimmy Choo ‘Mica’ boots.

The third look is perhaps my favourite.  Ya’ll know how much I love velvet, especially green velvet.

This dark forest hue was only the start of my obsession.

I don’t think you can get a more classic Mugler design than this 1981 Haute Couture dress on account of the signature hourglass shape, and the peaks.

This dress appeared in the ‘Gothic: Dark Glamour’ (2008) exhibition at the F.I.T. Museum, and is regarded as one of the 25 Most Iconic Fashion Ensembles in the History of the Museum at F.I.T.

Yet more jewels from Fabergé completed her look. This time she wore the James Ganh convertible pear shaped emerald marquise diamond necklace.
