2020 MTV EMAs Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick roundup from the rest of the attendees who joined the virtual red carpet for the 2020 MTV EMAs show on Sunday (November 8).

Winnie Harlow:  Someone had to bring the glamour to this event, and that someone was Winnie Harlow.  The model presented the Best Latin Act award giving us old Hollywood glamour wearing Ralph & Russo Fall 2020 Couture.  The black velvet gown featuring thigh-high slit, illusion tulle inserts and a sculpted deconstructed side bow, finished with crystal embellishment stood out on a red carpet where sheerness, ruffles, and bold hues were on trend.

Like Little Mix, the model also donned two looks. This striped high low gown oozing plenty of flair hails from the Moschino Fall 2020 collection.

Both looks were styled with jewelry by Gismondi 1754.

Ralph & Russo Fall 2020 Couture / Moschino Fall 2020

Karol G: I legit thought this was Khloe Kardashian.  If the reality star ever needs a face or body double, Karol G is her girl. The Colombian singer-songwriter rocked a part Formula 1, part gown look in this sporty in Moschino Pre-Fall 2020 runway piece. Loree Rodkin jewels completed her look.

Anitta: The singer was giving us sultry elegance in a Dolce & Gabbana gown featuring the designers signature seductive sheer corset.

Moschino Pre-Fall 2020

Zara Larsson: The Swedish singer wore a gorgeous custom-made dress crafted from purple metal mesh that was inspired by the heritage Atelier Versace creations. The mini dress was framed by voluminous, crystal-encrusted shoulder straps which we saw in the Fall 2020 collection.

Bvlgari jewels and a stunning pair of Versace Artifact sandals provided the finishing touch of her disco ready look.  I have to say this is my favourite part of her look.

Raye:  As a lover of bold hues, I was instantly drawn to this bright orange Dolce & Gabbana Swarovski beaded dress, but I’m on the fence with the black platform sandals.

Versace Fall 2020

Becca Dudley: I was convinced that this was Zuhair Murad, but this red embellished jumpsuit is actually from Nadine Merabi.

Barbara Palvin: As I said this was a truly global event, so here we have the model giving us a taste of her hometown Budapest, wearing a mint green Nanushka suit.  Are mint suits trending?

Madison Beer:  Also giving us two look that were very much on the sultry side, the first was a chocolate sensation from Vivienne Westwood which of course included the signature corset.  The chain accents and Swarovski beaded bodice prevented this from feeling done-to-death/boring.  I never thought brown satin over-the-knee boot would pique my interest, but I feel that they work cohesively with her outfit.  Is anyone else seeing a Megan Fox mini-me?

Her second looks is from Mugler.  If you’re anything like me, you’ll believe you are looking at a swimsuit with a sheer sarong.
