Penelope Cruz Sparkles For The ‘Pain & Glory’ London Premiere

‘Pain & Glory,’ which also stars Antonio Banderas, sees Penelope Cruz reunited with Spanish director Pedro Almodovar.

The premiere opened Film4’s Summer Screen at Somerset House in London this evening  (August 8).

We all know Penelope loves all things black, and Chanel Haute Couture, but neither featured within this look.

This is the first time Penelope has worn a look from Ralph & Russo’s Couture collection.

Pacific opal stones, pink crystals and light peach glass on top of aqua tulle create the most dazzling effect, with ostrich feathers heightening the drama.

My feeling is that Penelope can play things a little safe on the red carpet, so I’m delighted to see her have a lot more fun with fashion in this flirty number.

This was made for an A-list movie star, and Penelope more than did this look justice.
