Gugu Mbatha-Raw In Michael Kors Collection – 2019 Evening Standard Theatre Awards

Gugu Mbatha-Raw joined Naomi Scott and Hayley Atwell on the red carpet for the 2019 Evening Standard Theatre Awards held at London Coliseum on Sunday (November 24) in London.

I would’ve expected Gugu to have worn a gown to this event, so I was a little surprised to see her don this black-and-lemon crystal-embroidered pebble-crepe ruffle dress from the Spring 2020 Michael Kors Collection.

Surprised, doesn’t mean dislike.

I actually love the how there’s a fun element to this look.

It’s was glamorous, yet free-spirited, presenting a refreshing change of pace from Gugu.

While this isn’t the first time she’s worn a shorter dress, it’s definitely one that stands out.
