Billy Porter In Thom Browne – 2019 American Music Awards

Over the past year Billy Porter has developed quite a reputation for being one of Hollywood’s most risk-taking style stars, so we would’ve been very disappointed had he arrived at the 2019 American Music Awards in just a black suit.

Thankfully he continued his streak of show-stopping red carpet looks as he arrived at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday (November 24) clad in an eye-catching ensemble from Thom Browne’s Spring 2020 collection.

While the colour feels muted by Billy’s standard, the dramatic white cape-jacket and a matching wide-leg trousers kept this look right on track.

Billy’s accessories were just as extravagant as his outfit, with Thom Brown red, white and blue wingtips boots, and a head-turning angular headpiece from Stephen Jones Millinery.

There are some celebrities who dress for attention, but with Billy, he’s giving us artistic masterpieces.  And this is one of his best in my opinion.
