2019 CMT Music Awards Red Carpet Roundup
We’ve seen Kate Bosworth and Michelle Monaghan, so here are some of the other looks which took to the red carpet for the 2019 CMT Awards on Wednesday (June 5) in Nashville, Tennessee.
Carrie Underwood: The singer wore a fully beaded, plunging long-sleeve mini dress by Michael Cinco. Thanks to Cannes Film Festival, we know the designer for his big ball gowns, but on this occasion Carrie showcased one of his cocktail dress. Despite the show-stopping intricate turquoise and gold embroidery, this failed to excite. I’m not a fan of the panel, or overall vibe which translates as dated. René Caovilla ‘Krisabrita’ sandals, Djula earrings and Noudar rings completed her look.
Sarah Hyland: The actress brought things right up to date with her sassy mini dress from Redemption’s Spring 2019 collection. I wish Carrie has brought this type of energy to this event. I love the bold ruffled detail on the shoulders, and the sultry deep plunge sans illusion panel.
Kelsea Ballerini: I loved the vibe of this Blumarine Spring 2019 gown on the runway, but I’m not entirely sure that translated onto the red carpet. Kelsea is usually one of my favourites at these country music event, but this look passed me by. Djula diamond ring completed her look.
Maren Morris: This embellished Fausto Puglisi Resort 2019 mini dress with cut-outs is hardly a new design, but it always has a desired impact. Maren paired the ’70s-inspired look with a pair of gold Jimmy Choo ‘Max’ platforms and Jimmy Choo’s ‘Ellipse’ clutch.
