Variety’s Annual Power Of Young Hollywood

Variety's Annual Power Of Young Hollywood

Hollywood’s best and brightest attended Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood event in West Hollywood on Tuesday (August 28), where the event honoured Amandla Stenberg, and Lili Reinhart was also awarded the second-ever Variety + H&M Conscious Award for her body positivity and mental health activism.

Amandla Stenberg: From boyish, to vixen in the space of 24 hours, Amandla showcases more than a slither of skin in this red hot Chromat Spring 2017 dress styled with matching Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. I don’t know about you, but I’m really enjoying her variety of looks.

Sofia Carson: The actress was serving up plenty of girlish flair wearing a Monique Lhuillier off-the shoulder LBD festooned with feathers for dramatic effect.

Joey King: The 19-year-old actress opted to go down a semi-sexy route with her Emporio Armani Pre-Fall 2018 suit by opting to go sans blouse, and I think she pulled the look off tastefully. A Tyler Ellis bag gave her look a more business-like touch with Jennifer Meyer jewels rounding out the look.

Sarah Hyland In Christian Siriano – ‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’ Opening Day

Sarah Hyland graced the red carpet at the opening day of ‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’ on Sunday (April 22) in New York City.

The ‘Modern Family’ actress was outfitted in a Christian Siriano Pre-Fall 2018 dress with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

At her last appearance, many took issue with the drab colour of her ensemble so I’m intrigued to see how this black frock with shimmering silver appliqué will go down.

The swooping hemline is striking but I don’t think it’s showcased in the best manner with her pose. It’s also not the best length for her.

I’m afraid the curly updo doesn’t help the style.

Sarah Hyland In ADEAM – FYC Event For ABC’s ‘Modern Family’

Sarah Hyland was back on the red carpet at the FYC Event for ABC’s ‘Modern Family’ on Monday (April 16) in Hollywood, California.

The actress embraced soft-spoken femininity in an ADEAM Spring 2018 dress.

With its muted gray pattern and crisscrossing bodice, it had a quieter mood. The subdued tones of the accessories echo that, although, the ADEAM Art Frame bag definitely adds a weighty statement.

The frock’s shorter length suits her petite frame and the tones work together, but what lets it down is the shades don’t do much for her. This feels a bit washed out and makes me crave something with colour to enliven her complexion.

Her heavy bangs added to the elegant finish of the ensemble, but they couldn’t help the lackluster tones.

Casadei pumps completed her look.

Lorraine Schwartz ‘Eye Bangles’ Collection Launch

‘The Eye Bangles’ Lorraine Schwartz launch, in addition to her signature Against Evil Eye Collection, was celebrated on Tuesday (March 13) in Hollywood. Naturally her biggest fans Rita Ora, Blake Lively and Sofia Vegara were in attendance.

Rita Ora: In recent times when we see La Perla looks on the red carpet, they tend to be suits (think Joanne Froggatt, Fan Bingbing and Gwyneth Paltrow), but Rita Ora opted embrace the luxury brand for what it’s historically know for – lingerie. Even with the robe covering most of the look, there is no escaping the fact that she is wearing a nightgown underneath. Thankfully her Lorraine Schwartz jewels provide some distraction.

Blake Lively: Probably the designer biggest fan, the actress opted to keep things simple with a Brandon Maxwell Spring 2018 LBD, allowing the jewels to be the focus. I love how her medley of Lorraine Schwartz bracelets complement her Christian Louboutin ‘ Galeria’ sandals.

Kim Kardashian: Without the oversized blazers and the pink hair, I have to say this was a surprisingly simple and refreshing look for Kim.

Sarah Hyland In Galia Lahav Couture – 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards

Sarah Hyland went the LBD route for the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday (March 11) in Inglewood, California.

Her sequin spangled Galia Lahav Spring 2018 Couture mini dress is another example of the brand’s love of statement dresses.

The rule if you’re showing off your pins is to cover up elsewhere, and this number does that with long sleeves and a modest (well, ok it’s plunging) neckline.

Slipping into her highest sky scraper heels courtesy of Giuseppe Zanotti, the look was complete with Neil Lane jewels.

2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Red Carpet Roundup

The crush of beauties continued in full force on the red carpet of the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party last night (March 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

Odeya Rush: The young starlet was a vision in this neon-bright chartreuse Vivienne Westwood Couture gown. The sculptural, one-shoulder ruffle detail is nothing we haven’t seen before, but the bold colour made the look feel dynamic. I do think she could have offered up a more youthful beauty look—and less bronzer—to accompany the sophisticated sass of the gown.

Dree Hemingway: There was a delicate daintiness to this Valentino Pre-Fall 2018 nude, embellished lace gown, which Dree echoed in her minimal hair and makeup. The yellow-tinged, ribbon belt made all the difference in breathing a bit of life into the neutral dress, with Repossi jewels to complete the look.

Sarah Hyland In Carolina Herrera – 2018 Costume Designers Guild Awards

Sarah Hyland looked ready for spring at the 2018 Costume Designers Guild Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday (February 20) in California. She joined Kerry Washington and Sally Field.

The ‘Modern Family’ actress brought a brightness with her Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2018 gown.

The bodacious blue colour on its own would have had a strong impact, but the floral embroidery cascading across the bodice and skirt enlivened dress, making me anxious to see flowers in bloom.

With the sweeping pleated skirt, the look could have proved overwhelming on her petite frame, but the volume and floral detailing are just enough to be dramatic rather than suffocating.
