Katie Holmes was breathtaking in a Zac Posen gown at the 2019 Met Gala on Monday (May 6) in New York City.

Sure, it wasn’t the campiest look of the night by far, but I still couldn’t help but be head-over-heels for the mystique of the swirling tulle layers in shadowy purple and midnight-blue hues.

The most surreal element was the fern-like appendage that laced her collarbone for a sculptural finish.
