Deepika Padukone was one of the head-turning belles of the ball at the 2019 Met Gala on Monday night (May 6) in New York City.

The Indian beauty had hair as big as her dramatic Zac Posen gown.

In general red carpet terms, it would be a tough sell, but it’s exactly the thing the ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’ theme encouraged.

With its glimmering pink fabric, the dress is evocative of Barbie without being a distinct recreation, like Kacey Musgraves’s look.

And there was no bad angle with the sweeping embellished skirt.
