Front Row @ Prada Resort 2020

Prada attracted an A-list crowd for its latest Resort 2020 runway show held at the Piano Factory, Prada US headquarters, in New York City on Thursday (May 2).

Elle Fanning: The 21-year-old actress wore a gorgeous aquamarine Prada dress with Prada’s bow front pumps which were worn by most of the attendees.  I love Elle’s super feminine looks, but I struggled to get on board with those twin ribbons.

Lucy Boynton:  I think Prada/Miu Miu would be a great fit for Lucy.  Much better than Gucci, so I hope this is the start of a beautiful working relationship.

Diane Kruger: One of the few to opt out of the Prada pumps, I think she made the right choice as this Prada Fall 2019 lace overlay shirt dress needed something with a little more bite.

Hailee Steinfeld: The actress never takes the easy route, which is something I admire.   Her Prada shirt dress gets an update from the Spring 2019 runway, but was it a change for the better or worse?

Marsai Martin: This Prada look is reading supply teacher for me.  I wish she had opted for something a little more youthful.

Pom Klementieff: This Prada look was lacking some seasoning.  Even with the embellishments.  The only thing I would save her are those metallic silver wedges.

Sadie Sink:  I would’ve loved this Prada Spring 2019 look more without the grey jacket.  It feels out of place with this look.  Black would’ve worked better for me.

Storm Reid: Prada took the classic sweater dress and turned it into a design that feels so undeniably cool, so Storm only needed to add the signature pumps to complete the look.

Bonnie Wright: The actress stayed true to her feminine style with this chiffon frock.  I love the new intense hue of her red hair.

Shailene Woodley: This Prada/ Dennis the Menace mash up is really cool.  But I’m just not buying it here, especially with the updo.

Nicola Peltz:  The actress usually presents a more sultry look, but this look felt very regimented.

Natalia Dyer: Yes, to animal print dress, but no to the lace duster as it ages the look somewhat.

Dane DeHaan: The actor has always been a part of the Prada family, he even starred in their Spring 2014 ad campaign, so I wasn’t surprised to see him in the front row.  I was a little surprised to see him in such a laidback look though.

Naomi Watts: Should Naomi be at Cannes this year, we are guaranteed to see her in some Prada and Miu Miu looks.

Zoe Kazan: I have become accustom to such a specific style from Zoe, that this Prada Fall 2019 look with the 3-D flowers feels very refreshing on Zoe.

Paul Dano: The actor is usually a bit more colourful, but Zoe was radiant enough for the both of them.
