Teen Vogue’s 2019 Young Hollywood Party
There was plenty of playful fashion at Teen Vogue’s 2019 Young Hollywood Party on Friday (February 15) in Los Angeles, California. Starlets joined Joey King and Marsai Martin.
Skai Jackson: The way the ‘Bunk’d’ actress’s Onna Ehrlich clutch and Stuart Weitzman shoes tie in the heart on her Red Valentino dress should have fans feeling the sweet love.
Jenna Ortega: Also in Red Valentino, the ‘Stuck in the Middle’ actress mixed sporty and prim. The Swarovski jewels were the most cohesive detail. Taking off one bold accessory would have given the ensemble more focus.
Amanda Steele: The model added some pizzazz to classic suiting with an Each Other Resort 2019 look. Methinks she could have carried off the styling of the lookbook brilliantly.
Delilah Belle Hamlin: Harry Hamlin’s daughter looked ready to party in glitzy Julien Macdonald with APM Monaco jewels and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. Choosing earrings instead of a necklace enabled us to see how the plunging neckline mimicked the lines of the skirt.
Bailee Madison: The actress wasn’t afraid of animal print in Zimmermann Resort 2019. She has taken the safari sentiment of the lookbook and given it a refined twist for evening with Brian Atwood ‘Babe’ sandals.
Yalitza Aparicio: The ‘Roma’ actress brought the playful spirit of the evening without losing elegance in Jonathan Cohen Fall 2018 with Irene Neuwirth jewels. The bright teal heels enhance the pattern and add more life to the style.
Sofia Carson: True to form, the ‘Descendants 3’ actress went for fanciful drama in Prada with Roger Vivier shoes. It evokes a flapper spirit but the feathers feel much fresher than fringing.
Auli’i Cravalho: The Hawaiian beauty kept things simple in a Lumier by Bariano jumpsuit with Hearts On Fire jewelry. The dark colour palette works with her raven mane.
Harley Quinn Smith: Clad in Tadashi Shoji, the actress-musician showcased her personal style. If the dress was shortened to where the floral embroidery ended, the fluffy shoes would have worked better.
Larsen Thompson: Her Teresa Helbig look with Le Silla shoes plays up her Pre-Raphaelite beauty with its tones of ivory and gold. At the same time, it feels very modern.
Dove Cameron: Sofia’s costar had a ‘Black Swan’ moment in Giambattista Valli Resort 2019. The graphic eyeliner adds an editorial twist.
Maddie Ziegler: Some might say that this blazer dress with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes is too mature for someone of her 16 years, but she is carrying off the tailoring and seems confident in her choice.
