Olivia Wilde In Jonathan Cohen – National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Olivia Wilde In Jonathan Cohen - 2018 New York Film Critics Circle Awards

Olivia Wilde made a bold statement at the National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala on Tuesday (January 8) in New York City. She joined Gemma Chan and Elsie Fisher.

She shed some layers of the lookbook version of the Jonathan Cohen Spring 2019 ensemble to reveal the whimsically feminine dress.

Its blackened purple and red floral print imbues a bewitching mood to the nipped waist and frill.

The dark accessories add to the black magic of the ensemble and provide a sumptuous finish.

The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party Red Carpet Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

It was a jam-packed red carpet at The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party on Saturday (January 5) in Los Angeles, California, with 18 more more ladies joining Thandie Newton,  Emma StoneKiki LayneGemma Chan and Laura Harrier.

Emily Blunt: I was at first swept away by the beautiful Oscar de la Renta Pre Fall 2019 tulle polka dot dress, then I fell more in love with this look when I got to the yellow sandals.

Rachel Brosnahan: The colour of this weekend for Rachel was yellow. You were slightly underwhelmed by her Golden Globes offering, so how does this Christian Siriano Spring 2019 embellished sheath fare? The look was beautifully styled with yellow and gold Malone Souliers ‘Maureen’ pumps.

Rosamund Pike: It looks like the Pike x Givenchy union has a lot more to offer, and you’ll find me complaining following her Golden Globes outing and this flouncy Spring 2019 asymmetric dress. The only thing missing from this union is some colour every once in a while, as I’m worried this might hit a Rooney Mara “always black” brick wall. Pierre Hardy ‘Gena’ sandals completed her look.

CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund 15th Anniversary Event

CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund 15th Anniversary Event

A host of models and actress joined Emily Blunt to help the CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund celebrate their 15th anniversary event on Monday (November 5) Brooklyn, New York.

Shanina Shaik: This Carolina Herrera Spring 2019 dress is full of so much fun, vibrancy and youthful flair, that I had this parked on my wish list for Elle Fanning.

Karolina Kurkova: While Shanina was feeling the joys of spring, Karolina was falling forward in her Monse Pre-Fall 2018 checked skirt and sweater combo. The brand are known for their cool deconstructed designs and this look is inherent of the brand. I love the brave choice to add yet another pattern to this mix with the striped pumps.

Karlie Kloss: I’ve associated Brandon Maxwell with bold colours, that I forget that his designs can be just as intriguing in detailed black.

Emmy Rossum In Jonathan Cohen – ‘Shameless’ FYC Event

I will always be excited about an Emmy Rossum red carpet sighting, and the Emmy For Your Consideration Event for Showtime’s ‘Shameless’ on Thursday (May 24) in Los Angeles, California was no different.

I love how the iconic and classic little black dress is given a brand new personality by Jonathan Cohen with the deconstructed pleated sleeves.

While charming and sophisticated, the look also possesses a youthful appeal which I would’ve Emmy to have played up with a contrasting shoe, but black pumps were her choice on occasion.

Condola Rashad In Jonathan Cohen – ‘Saint Joan’ Broadway Opening Night

Condola Rashad celebrated the Broadway Opening Night of ‘Saint Joan’ on Wednesday (April 25) in New York City.

The play’s star wore a Jonathan Cohen Spring 2018 peasant dress, printed in abstract florals, that riffed on notions of Victoriana and bohemian romance.

However, it’s pretty safe to say she modernized the look with her royal-purple-tinged braids that offered a spirited finish to the more relaxed, boho vibe.

Greta Gerwig In Jonathan Cohen – 2018 BAFTAs

After a string of striking looks, I was very much looking forward to seeing what Greta Gerwig was going to wear to the 2018 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 18) in London, England.

She joined Lily James, Angelina Jolie and Gemma Arterton in showing solidarity with the Time’s Up movement with a black gown.

Like Leslie Bibb, she accented her black Jonathan Cohen Fall 2018 dress with a bit of colour.

The column style has been decorated with oversized floral appliqués which picked up the light with every turn.

The bold detailing brings to mind 1960’s florals, but the darker colours create a moodier effect for a modern finish.

AnnaSophia Robb In Jonathan Cohen – 28th Annual GLAAD Media Awards

AnnaSophia Robb showcased a new rich strawberry blonde ‘do while attending the 28th Annual GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday (May 6) in New York City.

Her hair may have changed, but her love for colour remains the same judging by her painterly print Jonathan Cohen Fall 2017 frock.

Some might be put off by the few creases – as satin can be so unforgiving – but I’m focusing on the carefree, uncomplicated aesthetic AnnaSophia is serving up here.
