Rita Ora has been unveiled as the face of Escada’s Spring 2019 campaign, starring the label’s ‘Heart’ bag.

Are you as surprised as I am?

There is no doubt that Rita looks great in this campaign. I love the bold colours and the “strong woman” moto reflects both her style and persona.

But it was a surprise to me as Rita has never worn the brand before now.

In her interview with WWD she said, “Escada was a brand that I grew up with, I remember seeing their campaigns as a child and thinking the women look so powerful yet relatable. The brand has always championed the message of designing for a woman by a woman.”

And she further added on her Instagram, “I’m so excited and honoured to be the new face of Escada for their #EscadaSS19 campaign. It’s all about strong colours, strong messages and strong women.”

I’m totally buying into the last line, as I said above, this campaign reflects Rita Ora’s playful yet luxurious aesthetic.

    She is hard working. She keeps getting gigs left right and center. I know she’s nobody’s cup of tea here but she knows how to stay relevant with her fashion choices.

    Surprisingly she has a nice voice and she has really good catchy pop songs.

    She may not be big in the United States cause Americans think she’s a rihanna wannabe but she is huge in Europe.

      And this year she’s going on tour and also doing a shoe collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti. 2019 is ready for Rita!

    It’s 2019. I still can’t name a Rita Ora song. I don’t know any fan of hers irl either.
    So I’m “impressed” that she snagged a campaign.
