‘Bold & Fearless’ Santos de Cartier Watch Launch Red Carpet Roundup

The ‘Bold & Fearless’ Santos de Cartier watch launch event on Thursday (April 5) in San Francisco, California brought out many celebrities. They joined Lily Collins, Sienna Miller and Chloe Sevigny.

Sofia Boutella: The Algerian stunner brought to mind decades gone by in a Prada gown. I’m sure there will be many Marilyn Monroe comparisons given her blonde bob, red lipstick and the halter style. The look was still unique as it had a whimsical finish with the draped embellishment around the waist marrying with the down-to-there neckline.

Dave Franco: The actor uplifted a sleek black suit with a fiery printed button-down. With the shirt done up to the neck, it presented a crisp finish, making a tie unnecessary.

Freida Pinto: The actress opted for statement texture rather than surface embellishment in a Roland Mouret gown accented with a Gucci belt. It’s a look that one wants to see up close and far away. The open draped sides reveal a hint of skin, creating an alluring finish and helping to shed the tweed fabric’s suiting reputation. Salvatore Ferragamo shoes completed her look.

Leila Nda: The model turned heads in a Zac Posen dress. There is a princess quality to the look thanks to the full pleated skirt and draped sleeves. The rich brown colour provides a more mature finish. Combined with the gold Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Sophie’ sandals, the outfit enhances her skin tone and hair in the most splendid manner.

Jake Gyllenhaal: Another male who punctuated a neutral suit with a bright top, the ‘Stronger’ actor layered a bright red long-sleeved top with a drove gray suit. The colour combination is dynamic, but the bagginess of the pieces let it down. Had it been tailored closer to his body, it would have had a greater impact.

Annabelle Wallis: Embracing the pyjama dressing trend, the British beauty stepped out in louche Antonio Berardi red separates. The plunging neckline complete with statement necklace formalized the flowing pieces with bringing more sensuality. If I had to nitpick, I wished the trousers were a hair shorter and had another pressing.

Winnie Harlow: The model made a glamorous statement in a Dundas gown with Roger Vivier shoes. The vibrant aqua lace would have been striking on its own, but the bejeweled halter top uplifted the style further with its shimmering finish. With so many striking elements, the visible panties almost go unnoticed.

Aaron Paul: The former ‘Breaking Bad’ actor looked debonair in a deep brownish burgundy suit. The matte suiting fabric played off the high shine finish of his shoes. The skinny tie and white shirt lent a classic finish to the rich colours.

Caroline Issa: The fashionista looked delightful in a Racil ensemble that celebrated the hues of the new season. The designer is known for his captivating colour combinations and smoking jackets and this ensemble demonstrates why. Rather than playing up the turquoise trim, she opted for neutral accessories.

Lisa Bonet: Adhering to her bohemian nature, the actress wore a flowing satin dress bedecked with an orange butterfly pattern. The warm tones were enhanced with her necklace and head wrap with the belt and booties completing the free-spirited finish. The ensemble feels so authentic to her and she looks so at ease.

Idris Elba: The ‘Luther’ actor went with a more casual look with a fitted sweater and slim trousers. It was sporty but the style retained a suave finish. The diagonal slash across the chest drew attention to his trim figure and punctuated the white in his trainers.
