Front Row @ Valentino Spring 2019 Haute Couture

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Valentino Spring 2019 Haute Couture Front Row

Valentino’s Spring 2019 Haute Couture attendees mostly focused on outerwear for their front row looks for Wednesday’s show.

Bianca Brandolini D’Adda: You’ll recognise this Valentino Spring 2019 look, as Regina King wore the same outfit to the 2019 AFI Awards earlier this month. The main difference are the boots as I much prefer this brown pair over Regina’s black.

Lucy Boynton: Cascading ruffles enhance the fluid ethos of this graceful silk dress from Valentino’s Pre-Fall 2019 collection.

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Front Row @ Christian Dior Spring 2019 Haute Couture

There were a great number of fashionable darlings who descended on the Christian Dior Spring 2019 Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week today (January 21) in France.

Mia Goth: Although sheer has been done so much, this Dior Pre-Fall 2019 ensemble had an attitude that spoke more of girly innocence than seduction. I think Mia’s fresh-faced beauty had something to do with that.

Rachel Brosnahan: ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ actress flitted on the darker side with this Dior Pre-Fall 2019 frock styled with a Dior Saddle bag. It was kind of goth, so I’m glad she kept her hair and makeup on the simpler side.

Kiki Layne: I love how glitzy sequins took on a whole new depth of form in this Dior Pre-Fall 2019 ensemble when paired with rich burgundies and burnt-orange suede. Of course, Kiki’s braids and shades amped up the personality of the look, too.

Mia Goth In Christian Dior Haute Couture – ‘Suspiria’ LA Premiere

Mia Goth In Christian Dior Haute Couture - 'Suspiria' LA Premiere

I was happy to see a rare smile from Mia Goth as she made her way down the red carpet for the LA premiere of ‘Suspiria’, joining her co-stars Dakota Johnson, and Chloe Grace Moretz.

The actress wore a Christian Dior Fall 2018 Haute Couture midnight blue dress with a crossover back.

l love how this confection falls to a flouncy box pleats for a truly girlie flourish.

Adding vibrant accessories for a pop of personality would’ve been my choice, but on this occasion I’m just happy with that gorgeous smile.

Mia Goth, Tilda Swinton and Dakota Johnson graced the red carpet this evening (October 16) for the London Film Festival premiere of ‘Suspiria’.

Am I the only one covered in goosebumps?

This is such a powerful picture of female unity and strength, that it renders me breathless.

Mia Goth: The actress tends to favour black, so I’m glad she opted for this silver lame Givenchy Spring 2018 Haute Couture gown. With a simple bodice being the starting point, the design falls dramatically into, tiered ruffles which shimmering under the lights which I adore.

Tilda Swinton: Carrying on the oversized suit trend we saw from Lady Gaga last night, this black double breasted suit sits firmly in Tilda’s wheelhouse. I’m glad she didn’t follow the sparkling dress code here. I love the balance this Maison Margiela Artisanal designed by John Galliano suit creates in a sea of silver. Delfina Delettrez jewels completed her look.

Dakota Johnson: With her silver dress memo received and reciprocated, the actress made me go weak at the knees in this Gucci sequin gown. I’m sure even those of you are not huge fans of sequin drenched gowns, will share the love for this magnificent trompe l’oeil piece.

Front Row @ Chanel Spring 2019

Front Row @ Chanel Spring 2019

The front row of the Chanel Spring 2019 presentation, hosted during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (October 2), saw a group of chic Chanel darlings clad in their designer best — amidst the faux tropical beach-inspired surroundings.

Sylvia Hoeks: Like Dree Hemingway, Sylvia has also recently joined the short list of beauties with a buzz cut. And, although I did not recognize her at first, her striking countenance can definitely handle this new look. It also complements the edgy side of her style personality — which is captured in this menswear shirting mixed with the silken pyjama-style pants.

Mia Goth: I like the use of silver-metallic accents in the belt and bag to cut through the more precious mood of this baby-blue tweed frock.

Poppy Delevingne: I know that it was a sandy endeavor, so I can understand the sneakers. But, they still translated as a bit of an odd match with this interpretation of tweed suiting.

AnOther Magazine x Prada Suspiria Screening

AnOther Magazine x Prada Suspiria Screening

AnOther Magazine and Prada hosted a private screening and party for Luca Guadagnino’s ‘Suspiria’ film on Saturday (September 29) during Paris Fashion Week in France, with three Prada-donning pretties in attendance alongside AnOther magazine co-founder Jefferson Hack.

Tilda Swinton: You may not immediately peg this as a Prada ensemble, given how minimalist it is. Yet, the knit and skirt set from the Resort 2019 collection is no less striking for its simplicity, especially with Tilda’s red lip and the flick of the patterned shoe that peaked beneath the hem.

Mia Goth: From the surface, this navy Prada navy off-the-shoulder cocktail dress may seem standard-issue. But, the open back featured a bow accent for added girlish allure. Ironically, her oxblood lip created a certain goth twist to the look, too.

Chloe Moretz: I love the spirited whimsicality of this neon-bright Prada Fall 2018 dress emblazoned in bananas and flames. Naturally, the only fitting shoes would be Prada’s flame-accented wedge sandals.
