Sabrina Carpenter In Moschino – Z100’s Jingle Ball 2018

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature the Sabrina Carpenter In Moschino - Z100's Jingle Ball 2018

Sabrina Carpenter took to the red carpet before her performance at the Z100’s Jingle Ball 2018 on Friday (December 7) in New York City.

I have a lot of admiration for Sabrina. This Moschino embellished jumpsuit with black satin bustier detail from the Fall 2018 collection isn’t an easy one to pull off.

As a red carpet look it didn’t really work for me, and I can’t say I was too enamored with it as a performance piece either.

I’m not sure Sabrina was the right person to bring this to the stage. Plus I find the bustier irksome.

Sabrina Carpenter In Vatanika – 106.1 KISS FM’s Jingle Ball 2018

Sabrina Carpenter In Vatanika - 106.1 KISS FM's Jingle Ball 2018

If Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas’ blaring out from every store you enter recently wasn’t a hint that the holidays are around the corner, then the 2018 KISS FM’s Jingle Ball is a sure sign.

Sabrina Carpenter took to the red carpet before her performance on Tuesday (November 27) in Dallas, Texas, wearing a Vatanika Resort 2019 jumpsuit.

Aside from the festive hue, I love how this look was the perfect mix of playful and sophisticated.

I would’ve been tempted to go matchy with this look, but Sabrina showed more restraint with her nude pumps.

2018 People’s Choice Awards

2018 People's Choice Awards

There was much to see at the 2018 People’s Choice Awards on Sunday (November 11) in Santa Monica, California, with celebrities joining Danai Gurira and Kat Graham.

Emeraude Toubia: The ‘Shadowhunters’ actress warmed up the red carpet in a creamy orange Solace London gown. Had it been a few shades darker, it would have really brought out her complexion.

Alisha Wainwright: Emeraude’s costar made an even bolder statement in striped Maggie Marilyn Resort 2019 with Atelier Swarovski jewels. I wish for a sleek bun or pony because the big hair and silhouette are creating a strong retro mood.

Mila Kunis: Always partial to a black dress, ‘The Spy Who Dumped Me’ actress was attired in Alex Perry. The Christian Louboutin ‘Degrastrass’ pumps added a magical touch.

‘The Hate U Give’ New York Screening

'The Hate U Give' New York Screening

‘The Hate U Give’ New York screening took place at the Paris Theatre on Thursday (October 4).

Amandla Stenberg: There was clearly a theme going on her with Amandla’s look which saw her pair a space-age Judy Jetson-esqe Christopher Kane Spring 2019 dress with Jimmy Choo ‘Bobbie’ pumps. But then the hair and high-octane eye makeup saw her channel Pam Grier as Foxy Brown.

Common: The rapper-actor kept things super cool as always in a Carlos Campos nude-hued look embracing clean tailoring with an urban edge that was spliced with shots of neon, which was a signature of the designers Spring 2019 collection. Sneakers would’ve been an easy option here, so I’m glad he kept his look fresh with rubber boots.

Sabrina Carpenter: Following her trip to Milan for Fashion Week, the actress finally got into the Versace spirit wearing a sultry semi-sheer dress from the Fall 2017 collection.  Unfortunately, the shoes appear too heavy for this ruffled creation.

2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival

2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival

The 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival was on Friday (September 21) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mariah Carey: Glitz and gams, this custom Bryan Hearns body-hugging mini was a full-on Mariah look tip to toe — fishnets and platforms, included.

Sofia Carson: Also going for a mini moment, Sofia wore an David Koma Resort 2019 LBD with magenta accent sleeves that she matched to her hot-pink shoes. A Yvan Tujenkijan stacked diamond ring finished the look.

Sabrina Carpenter: A third leggy lovely, Sabrina donned a Prabal Gurung Spring 2018 ensemble that balanced the edge of vinyl shorts with the charm of all those blue ruffles.

Front Row @ Versace Spring 2019

Front Row @ Versace Spring 2019

As you would expect, the front row at Versace was a jam-packed affair for the Spring 2019 show hosted during Milan Fashion Week on Friday (September 22).

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Now this is how you rock a menswear suit. Marlene Dietrich would be proud of the flawless execution of this menswear look that was cast in a coral pink shade and styled with nothing but satin sandals.

Luke Evans: Rocking Versace from head-to-toe, this look, which features the printed silk, black and gold Barocco shirt, couldn’t be more iconic if he tried.

Leona Lewis: I wouldn’t have had Leona down as Versace girl, but the British singer looked beautiful in her Fall 2018 collection slip dress with bold plaid accent panel which was a signature of said collection.

Entertainment Weekly’s Must List Party At The Toronto Film Festival

Entertainment Weekly's Must List Party At The Toronto Film Festival

A number of stars were at Entertainment Weekly’s Must List Party during the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday (September 8) in Canada.

Maggie Gyllenhaal: It’s been some time since we’ve seen Maggie on the red carpet, but she made a sweet return in this pink Calvin Klein dress. It’s a refreshing, lighter colourway that we don’t often see the actress wear. However, I will have to choose to ignore the shoes.

Timothée Chalamet: I had high hopes for Timothée after his last look. This Haider Ackermann Fall 2018 velvet ensemble was fine, but didn’t quite have the same impact.

Cynthia Erivo: At the ‘Widows’ premiere, Cynthia wore a similar overlay design. This Stella McCartney Fall 2018 look was complex and intriguing, so I’m not surprised she shortened the original runway version to make it a bit more manageable.
