Sofia Boutella In Christian Dior – ‘Climax’ Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

Sofia Boutella In Christian Dior - 'Climax' Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

Most red carpets at Toronto’s International Film Festival has been jam-packed with stars, but Sofia Boutella was flying solo for the ‘Climax’ premiere on Sunday (September 9) in Canada.

The actress is usually more experimental with her style, but on this occasion she kept things simple in Christian Dior Resort 2019.

Subtly skimming the line between alluring and demure, the look was styled with gold jewels and black pumps, that I wish were silver.

Are you loving this change of pace, or wish that Sofia had opted for something that packed more of a punch?

Chanel Dinner Celebrating ‘Our Majestic Oceans’

Chanel hosted a dinner celebrating ‘Our Majestic Oceans’, A Benefit For NRDC on Saturday (June 2) in Malibu, California with several notable guests in attendance.

When it comes to Sofia Boutella, Pom Klementieff, Rainsford Qualley and Brigette Lundy-Paine, their Chanel looks have been worn before respectively by Jhene Aiko, Greta Gerwig, Mackenzie Foy and Diane Kruger.

With Chanel, the looks are so distinctive that is can be hard to make it your own, but I think each woman (Sofia, Pom and Brigette especially) managed this successfully.

‘Hotel Artemis’ LA Premiere

The ‘Hotel Artemis’ premiere on Saturday (May 19) in Westwood, California was a monochromatic affair with many celebrities favoring black and white.

Sofia Boutella: The cloud-like ethereal beauty of the skirt in her Giambattista Valli Fall 2017 Haute Couture look was contrasted with the inky sparkle of the bodice. The black shoes help tie everything in, as does the black underskirt which is just visible from this angle.

Jenny Slate: The funny lady graced the red carpet in a romantic Rebecca Vallance gown. Some might get a bridal sentiment from the look, but her styling helped downplay the notion.

Sofia Boutella In Vera Wang Bridal – ‘Farenheit 451’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

We know Sofia Boutella as someone whose style has a bit more bite than the average Hollywood star, but if you can’t have a princess moment at Cannes Film Festival, when are you going to have one?

The French-Algerian actress donned this beautiful Vera Wang Spring 2019 Bridal tulle gown to her premiere of ‘Farenheit 451’.

I’m sure when you saw the title, you were expecting a white ball gown, but you should know Vera doesn’t always do what is expect when it comes to bridal gowns – remember her all black bridal collection?

Layer upon layer of floating tulle has been brought together in this bustier and flare gown. The lavender to blush is artfully handled; epitomizing modern femininity.

She completed the contemporary look with a beautiful statement necklace.

‘Farenheit 451’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

The cast of ‘Farenheit 451’ started this morning (May 12) with a photocall during Cannes Film Festival.

Michael Shannon: Usually a smooth operator, the actor kept things super laidback in a punchy print shirt and jeans combo.

Sofia Boutella: I love the shimmering metallic tulle fabric of her Emilia Wickstead Fall 2018 dress, which looks to be inspired by a twilight sky, was so pretty for a day time event. Christian Louboutin Zerlita bow pumps completed her look.

Michael B. Jordan: You wanted Michael to wear something sheer, but he was unable to oblige on this occasion. His smart casual look has me excited for his red carpet look this evening.

‘Fahrenheit 451’ New York Premiere

The ‘Fahrenheit 451’ New York premiere on Tuesday (May 8) featured some bold fashion statements.

Tessa Thompson: The ‘Westworld’ actress was yet another one to fall for the spell of an unlined Christian Dior dress. I’m sure many are bored of the revealing skirts. Just taking into account her outfit, there was an intriguing mood with the play of the prim collared style with the black undergarments. The dusty purple frock with rich burgundy shoes was unexpected but most striking.

Michael B. Jordan: The actor looked dashing in Ermenegildo Zegna Couture. The subtle sheen and night sky blue of the suit were debonair. The touches of black added to the sharp finish, but the roll neck is making it veer towards being too wintery.

Sofia Boutella: Another one in a sheer style, she was clad in Alberta Ferretti Fall 2018. On the runway, the lighting didn’t make it look quite so naked, but on the red carpet we see just how revealing it is. It feels better suited to a performance piece.
