Variety Power Of Young Hollywood Red Carpet Roundup

In addition to Yara Shahidi, Zendaya Coleman, and Chloe Grace Moretz, the Variety Power of Young Hollywood Party brought out plenty more PYTs to the festivities on Tuesday (August 8) in LA.

Skai Jackson: Skai can wear sweet looks with the best of them, but I loved how this H&M look combined the adorable charm of her ruffled, floral blouse with an edgier attitude in its black colourway and the addition of the patent-leather skirt. An incredible ’do topped with a few hair jewels along with Stuart Weitzman sandals completed the ensemble.

Charli XCX: Paring back the original presentation of this House of Holland Fall 2017 ensemble, the entertainer wore the PJs-inspired separates with her own rebellious fashion personality. For her, that meant tying the top to a midriff style and adding a choker and neon-orange sandals.

Kaitlyn Dever: While the sky-blue colour of this Prada tea-length, embossed frock was lovely, the fit of the bodice seemed a bit odd. I’m not sure if it was her choker and Aldo ‘Milaa’ sandals, but I was also picking up on a subtle punk vibe that made the look feel a little disjointed.

Rita Ora: I loved the cheeky glamour of Rita’s beauty look, but the corset and trousers didn’t translate quite as glamorously as their two different fabrics and coloration seemed off.

Ashley Tisdale: Tied up with this Milly Spring 2017 frock was a sweet-chic mood that likewise directed a sultry appeal with the cutout and Ashley’s Schutz ‘Primm’ tassel sandals.

Chloe Lukasiak: This two-tone Alexis ‘Antoinette’ embroidered, fringed dress overcooked itself into costume-y territory for me once the ribbon choker necklace and bright red lip also came out to play. Plus, I didn’t really understand the choice of blush-nude sandal here.

Storm Reid: Proving that all covered up doesn’t have to mean overly mature or mumsy, Storm brought a vibrant, youthful and style-forward finish to this ensemble consisting of an Undercover Fall 2017 statement top and cropped 3.1 Phillip Lim high-waist trousers with Schutz ‘Hara’ embellished block heel to finish off the look with a final dash of additional dazzle.

Katherine Langford: I always like seeing an LBD with a new personality, but this pouf-sleeved Giamba Pre-Fall 2017 dress wasn’t as flattering as I would have preferred. I blame the high neckline, which made the whole look feel forced.  Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps and a Jimmy Choo ‘Celeste’ clutch rounded out the look.
