Ralph Lauren 50th Anniversary Event

Ralph Lauren 50th Anniversary Event

Star-studded to say the least, Ralph Lauren’s 50th anniversary celebration was hosted in grand style with a runway show and black-tie dinner during New York Fashion Week on Friday (September 7). In homage to the legendary designer, all the beauties (and the boys, too) were clad in their Ralph Lauren finest.

Blake Lively: The actress continued her run of wearing suits from her ‘A Simple Favor’ promo tour with this tux-and-tails look. I loved it all, save for her hair, which I would have preferred in sleeker form to match the sartorial mood.

Jessica Chastain: A vision in sunny yellow, the actress would not be missed in this chiffon frock that was an enchanting, light-as-air confection.

Anne Hathaway: Like Blake, Anne was similarly clad in a menswear-inspired number that she feminized with her lightened locks, silver clutch, and stilettos.

Katherine Langford In Alberta Ferretti – 2018 Teen Choice Awards

Katherine Langford In Alberta Ferretti - 2018 Teen Choice Awards

Katherine Langford attended the 2018 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (August 12) in Inglewood, California.

Sticking to her favourite colour: black, the actress wore an Alberta Ferretti Pre-Fall 2018 point d’esprit ruffled dress styled with simple black pumps.

I love the flare she added to the look via her star jeweled eye makeup, but I kinda wish she didn’t add the corseted belt, as it make the look feel heavy and labored.

Yay or nay to the belt?

Katherine Langford In Giorgio Armani – 2018 MTV Movie And TV Awards

Katherine Langford was showcasing her individuality at the 2018 MTV Movie And TV Awards on Saturday (June 16) in Santa Monica, California.

Chic, flattering and refined, switching this Giorgio Armani Fall 2018 gown to a jumpsuit look made the look infinitely more interesting to me.

When it comes to the tulle bow, perhaps there is some meaning behind it that I’m not aware of, or maybe it was intended to inject a youthful edge to this look.

Either way she pulls it off.

Katherine Langford In Prabal Gurung – 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards

Katherine Langford joined Prabal Gurung on the red carpet for the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 4) held at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City.

Her Prabal Gurung Asian inspired tie-front black suit from the Fall 2018 collection was one of the more successful suiting looks on this red carpet.

I love how the with white revers and red cuffs bring statement appeal to the look, so I’m glad she didn’t opt to go with red or white accessories which allowed the suit to be the center piece.

TASAKI jewels completed her look.

Katherine Langford In Prada – 2018 Met Gala

Also one of the ladies in red tonight (May 7) at the 2018 Met Gala in New York City, Katherine Langford offered a different variation on the hue by combining it with magenta-pink in this Prada caped design.

Of all the attendees, I would have pegged Katherine to opt for a black gown given her affinity for classic, darker aesthetic.

Not so, though, with this colour-saturated entrance that held a certain royal Grecian spirit in addition to the quirky dissonance of hue and outlay of embellishment we’d expect from a Prada look.

Front Row @ Prada Resort 2019

So many pretties (and a few handsome lads, too) were at the Prada Resort 2019 presentation on Friday (May 4) in New York City. The fashion house’s quirky, colourful sensibilities made for quite the eclectic front row.

Lily Collins: Grunge met girly in this Prada Fall 2018 look that threw caution to the wind when it came to tradition. Tube top aside, the schoolgirl pleats and socks took on a punky spirit with the skirt’s techy, polyurethane-like overlay and tall platform shoes. The lilac eye shadow and fashion-face clutch looked like they belonged to another outfit—but it was all a part of the funky charms.

Poppy Delevingne: I don’t think this hot-pink hue of this chiffon and sequin Prada Fall 2018 frock could have gotten any hotter. But, Poppy wasn’t about to have a customary pretty-in-pink moment, as she added the edgy-goth oxblood lip and black heels to dramatize the effect.

Dianna Agron: Even though there was a lot going on with this dimensionally embellished, neon-floral-studded Prada Fall 2018 design, I didn’t find the chiffon-coated dress overbearing. I love how she let the frock be front and centre by keeping her styling on the basic side. The one bold slick of the coral lip was the perfect finish.
