Harpers BAZAAR And The CDG Celebrate Excellence In Television Costume Design

Harper’s BAZAAR, The Outnet.com and the CDG celebrated Excellence in Television Costume Design with the Emmy Nominated Costume Designers with a private dinner on Saturday (August 18) in Los Angeles, California, with five beautiful ladies in attendance.

Angela Sarafyan: This Giorgio Armani red fitted dress is as gorgeous as you would expect from the ‘Westworld’ actress. The bow is an especially intriguing feature. But I wasn’t a fan of her shoe choice for this dress.

Alison Brie: Noon By Noor’s refined aesthetic fuses simplicity with sensuality in this Pre-Fall 2018 mesh dress. The actress has been very experimental of late, but this sees her take her foot off the gas a little.

Mandy Moore: Was Mandy’s Proenza Schouler belted dress, Danse Lente ‘Lilou’ tote and suede Jimmy Choo ‘Lucy’ pumps a little too one note for you? I was tempted to say yes, but I love the sleekness of the dress and the uniqueness of the bag.

The BRIT Awards 2018 Red Carpet Roundup

Long, short, and everything in between, the eclectic looks marched on with so many more stars in attendance at The Brit Awards 2018 on Wednesday (February 21) in London.

Jennifer Hudson: I loved the sizzling hue of this red-hot Ralph Lauren gown, but not the fit. The patent-plasticized look would have been all shine had the silhouette been sleeker without the awkward folds.

Adwoa Aboah: Rita Ora wasn’t the only one in feathers, as Adwoa also took a flight of fancy with this Sonia Rykiel white dress. The model’s directional looks can sometimes be a tough sell, so I like the pristine romance she presented here with Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals and a Time’s Up rose to complete the picture.

Maya Jama: Given this House of Holland mini was a custom piece, I expected an impeccable fit and the pink metallic number delivered. She complemented its flirty, girlish side with Sophia Webster embellished sandals. But, I would have left the diamond choker at home.

Variety Power Of Young Hollywood Red Carpet Roundup

In addition to Yara Shahidi, Zendaya Coleman, and Chloe Grace Moretz, the Variety Power of Young Hollywood Party brought out plenty more PYTs to the festivities on Tuesday (August 8) in LA.

Skai Jackson: Skai can wear sweet looks with the best of them, but I loved how this H&M look combined the adorable charm of her ruffled, floral blouse with an edgier attitude in its black colourway and the addition of the patent-leather skirt. An incredible ’do topped with a few hair jewels along with Stuart Weitzman sandals completed the ensemble.

Charli XCX: Paring back the original presentation of this House of Holland Fall 2017 ensemble, the entertainer wore the PJs-inspired separates with her own rebellious fashion personality. For her, that meant tying the top to a midriff style and adding a choker and neon-orange sandals.

Kaitlyn Dever: While the sky-blue colour of this Prada tea-length, embossed frock was lovely, the fit of the bodice seemed a bit odd. I’m not sure if it was her choker and Aldo ‘Milaa’ sandals, but I was also picking up on a subtle punk vibe that made the look feel a little disjointed.

Pixie Lott In House of Holland – ITV Studios & Loose Women

Pixie Lott was seen out in London at the ITV Studios for the ‘Voice Kids’ show and ‘Loose Women’ over the past few days.

ITV Studios: While promoting the ‘Voice Kids’ show on Wednesday (June 7), Pixie had a rosy outlook in a House of Holland Spring 2017 floral-festooned frock. I love the off-the-shoulder, layered romance of the dress, which she edged up with grommet sandals. Perhaps a bolder lip would have been nice, but there’s something to be said for letting the dress take centre stage.

‘Loose Women’: While at the studio for the ‘Loose Women’ TV show on Thursday (June 8), she switched up her look to an entirely different mood with a House of Holland Spring 2017 ruched crop top and track pants. By pairing these gingham-accented pieces, she mixed girly flirtation with a sportier vibe while strapping on the same studded, ankle-wrap sandals around her pants. I much preferred her simplified interpretation of these pieces to the original runway variations.

2017 BRIT Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The 2017 BRIT Awards certainly brought no shortage of head-turning looks on Wednesday (February 22) in London, and here are a few more of them.

Jesy Nelson: The Little Mix girls were present and accounted for, with the chart-topping British group bringing their distinct stylistic flair to the event—starting with Jesy who played tough-girl-meets-seductress in this leather dress and long locks.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock: If this dress were a song, it would be a mashup between the ’80s and the ’90s, with a punk-rock meets grunge beat. That is to say there was a lot going on in this Namilia Spring 2017 denim, cone-bra gown so I’m glad she kept the styling sleek with her updo and minimal jewels.

Perrie Edwards: She also had a throwback moment, putting the cone bra to work for her, excepts hers was manifested in a black patent corset bodice with an illusion neckline. The feathery mullet skirt added a note of softness while fully showing off her legs.

Jade Thirlwall: Legs, or should we say leg, also dominated Jade’s Rare London white slip gown that looked as if it could have slipped right into a wardrobe malfunction at any moment. Aside from the dangerously gaping dress, it was too long and too creased—and the black gloves further lessened any of my tolerance for it.

Did any of these looks pass the test for you?

Nicola Roberts In House of Holland & Cheryl Fernandez Versini In Hervé Léger – ‘Elf: The Musical’ Press Night

Nicola Roberts In House of Holland & Cheryl Fernandez Versini In Hervé Léger - 'Elf The Musical' Press Night

Nicola Roberts and Cheryl Fernandez Versini showed support for their BFF Kimberly Walsh who performed at the press night performance of ‘Elf: The Musical’ at the Dominion Theatre on Thursday (November 5) in London, England.

Nicola Roberts: The singer wore a House of Holland Fall 2015 dress which possesses a 50s silhouette, but the look makes a modern statement with its vinyl checked skirt. Chanel pumps and a bright red lip completed the look.

Cheryl Fernandez Versini: The X Factor judge wore a strapless Hervé Léger panelled dress balanced by an elegant fluted hem. I love her effortless, chic styling which brings the look right up to date.
