Models @ 2018 Met Gala

Naturally, the models were out in force for the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City. Here’s what these ‘heavenly bodies’ had on.

Ashley Graham: Channeling a bronzed goddess moment, the model donned an Atelier Prabal Gurung sequin-encrusted gown that introduced a dramatic, Met-ready sensibility with the long, satin-edged cape. The leg jut was put to work, with Taski jewels and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals completing the look.

Bella Hadid: I’m sure many will be raising their hands in praise that Bella opted for something a bit more covered than her naked bodysuit from last year’s Met Gala. This custom Chrome Hearts x Gareth Pugh design riffed on sinner and saint with the dark glamour of the latex corset and sculptural, villainous cape and fingerless gloves. This would have been all bad-girl were it not for the cross necklace and cross-embroidered veil that trailed behind her.

Kiersey Clemons In H&M – 2018 Met Gala

Kiersey Clemons was a golden goddess at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

As you might have been in disbelief that Olivia Munn was in the H&M Conscious Collection, Kiersey also may have surprised you once you found out this was an H&M gown.

I was entranced by the construction of the dress with its intricate, lattice-work embellishment that certainly paid homage to a modern interpretation of ‘Heavenly Bodies.’

I love how the starlet matched her golden buzz cut to her metallic moment here for another level of radiance.

Olivia Munn In H&M Conscious Collection – 2018 Met Gala

Olivia Munn was one of the first to arrive at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York and my did she kick off the night in high style.

Many will likely be surprised to hear that the actress is wearing H&M Conscious Collection with a Michael Schmidt headpiece. The cohesion among the pieces would make one suspect that they’re from the same collection.

The headpiece and golden colour scheme allude to the theme while the sensual slit with ring detailing provides plenty of sensuality.

A Jimmy Choo clutch, Christian Louboutin shoes and Lorraine Schwartz created a cohesive finish.

Malaga Film Festival 2018 Opening Day

A trio of beauties were at the Opening Day of the Malaga Film Festival 2018 last Friday (April 13) in Spain.

Eugenia Silva: My feeling is that this glittery Armani Privé Spring 2017 held promise, but it was compromised in execution with the overly sheer effects—as well as what I would call an unnecessary addition of jewels with the earrings, necklace, and cuff plus the embellished clutch all rallying for attention. Less is often more.

Juana Acosta: This charmingly feminine H&M Conscious Exclusive frock was previously worn by Mena Suvari, but Juana mastered the eco-chic look so well that you won’t find me complaining. This was the perfect union of girlishness and glamour with the metallic accessories adding a special layer of dimension to the dress.

Belén Cuesta: Stripped of its western, cowgirl influences seen on the runway, this sparkling Christian Dior Resort 2018 corset dress retained a more straightforward elegance that Belén did not complicate by over-styling it with jewels.

Moschino [TV] H&M Desert Coachella Party

Coachella is never short of fashion inspiration with Beyonce Knowles wearing five custom Balmain looks alone for her performance. On Sunday (April 15), the Moschino [TV] H&M Desert Coachella party revealed H&M’s next designer collaboration with Moschino. The big announcement was made with an Instagram live call from Gigi Hadid to Creative Director Jeremy Scott. The collection, Moschino [tv] H&M, will be available online and in select H&M stores worldwide from November 8. Many feted the announcement with joyful, colorful ensembles.

Gigi Hadid: The model was decked out in full Moschino [tv] H&M collection. She showed off her lengthy pins in heavily embellished over-the-knee boots and a CD print topper which hung off one shoulder to reveal a blue crop top. Embracing the maximalist aesthetic, she finished the look with a gold necklace and belt.

Emily Ratajkowski: The ‘I Feel Pretty’ actress opted for ravishing simplicity in an Altuzarra Lyrebird dress from Fall 2018. The clinging fit and cut-outs showed off her shape. Even with the ivory boots, the outfit was a change of pace from the typical bohemian festival ensembles thanks to its simplicity and longer length.

H&M Celebrates 2018 Conscious Exclusive Launch Party

Lovely ladies embraced their naturalistic sides at the H&M Celebrates 2018 Conscious Exclusive launch party on Thursday (April 5) in Los Angeles, California. The capsule collection features a range of premium pieces that demonstrate the possibilities of sustainable fashion.

Christy Turlington Burns: The campaign star made a grand statement in a flowing maxi dress. Her statuesque beauty was showcased with the full sleeves and subdued pattern. It exudes such grace and ease and it’s clear that she felt very comfortable in the ensemble.

Kate Bosworth: Toughening up a flowing midi frock, the actress accessorized with black and silver studded boots and a geometric Salvatore Ferragamo ‘Gancini’ flap bag. The different lines in the look are striking and I’m charmed by the way her half-bun updo and coral lipstick add even more dimension.

Kiersey Clemons: The ‘Flatliners’ actress showed some leg in a mini style. The look still had plenty of impact with the watercolor pattern creating a Rorschach print effect. Black Jimmy Choo ‘Hourly’ sandals brought out the dark tones in the outfit without taking away from the design.
