Kaitlyn Dever In Valentino – ‘Beautiful Boy’ LA Premiere

Kaitlyn Dever In Valentino - ‘Beautiful Boy’ LA Premiere

Kaitlyn Dever joined Timothée Chalamet on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Beautiful Boy’ on Monday (October 8) in Beverly Hills, California.

Charged with nostalgia, this elegant antique gold Valentino gown is adorned with intricate open embroidery, evocative of the exquisite craftsmanship of an earlier era.

I love that Kaitlyn didn’t try to modernise the look with a specific type of jewelry as her Jennifer Meyer studs allowed the gown to shine.

2018 Golden Globe Awards Parties

The 2018 Golden Globe Awards were a study in many glamorous renditions of the colour black. And, for the most part, the Globes after parties followed suit with the hue taking on all measures of late-night allure.

Diane Kruger: After a regally glamorous entrance at the Globes, Diane was at the InStyle and Warner Bros. post-party, where she imbued black, cropped trousers with a bit of creamy lace in this Alexander McQueen Spring 2018 ensemble. I have a feeling that the tattered, asymmetrical effect of the lace bustier top will turn some away from the more experimental look.

Tessa Thompson: At HBO’s official after party in LA, Tessa suited up in an Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2017 Couture menswear-inspired look that delivered plenty of intriguing edge when styled with the MATEO jewelry and bauble-accented sandals. I was happy for the sheer shirting underneath to balance the boxier shape of the tuxedo blazer.

Nina Dobrev: The actress flaunted her toned abs at the InStyle party in this Ralph Lauren cutout gown. Even with the futuristic liquid-silver paneling, something about the look read a bit dated. Alexis Bittar choker completed her look.

2017 GQ Men of the Year Party

The 2017 GQ Men of the Year party brought all the pretty girls to the Chateau Marmont on Thursday (December 7) in Los Angeles, California.

Kate Beckinsale: The British actress’ style would be classed as ultra girlie, but she took a walk down a new path wearing this Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2017 leather mini. I love how the neon green adds touch of 80s rebellious glam, which Kate tempers with her tights and black pumps combo. My first thought when I saw this look was, “if ever there was look which required her famous pony, this was it”.

Sofia Boutella: The actress opted to wear a full Prada Resort 2018 look which kinda has a bit of everything. While I’m not the biggest fan of dress-obscuring coats on the red carpet, the piece prevents this outfit from feeling like just another sheer dress, while adding some cool-girl charm to the look.

Gal Gadot: Wonder Woman made a bold entrance at this event wearing red Dior dress styled with black Louboutins. This is what I would’ve expected Kate Beckinsale to wear, as it possesses all her girlish signatures.

Front Row @ Valentino Spring 2018

The Valentino Spring 2018 front row had no shortage of chic beauties eager to take in designer Pierpaolo Piccioli’s take on elegant whimsy during Paris Fashion Week on Sunday (October 1).

Natalia Vodianova: Her previous less-is-more M.O. at the Givenchy show was replaced by a more-is-more look in this Valentino Resort 2018 keyhole frock, resplendent with folk patterning. Glittery Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Luce’ ankle boots and a statement earring ensured this was no ordinary maxi dress.

Marion Cotillard: Offering up her blonde ’do in a punk faux-hawk of sorts, the actress donned a Valentino Resort 2018 ensemble that merged menswear-inspired pinstripes, sporty track pants, and feminine, sheer lace. What united the motley collection of trends was the sophisticated colour palette, to which the kelly-green, embellished sandals simply did not make sense.

Izabel Goulart: I loved the romantic simplicity and feminine seduction of this Valentino Resort 2018 plisse dress, which flowed so beautifully and effortlessly around Izabel’s silhouette as she walked. Here, the green accents made perfect sense in the subtle piping at the neckline, the bow at the waist, and her matching clutch.

Kaitlyn Dever In Luisa Beccaria – Entertainment Weekly’s Must List Party

Kaitlyn Dever was one of the lovely ladies at the Toronto International Film Festival, attending Entertainment Weekly’s Must List Party on Saturday (September 9).

I must say that this Luisa Beccaria Resort 2018 jumpsuit is a must-try. The moss green ensemble enhanced her skin tone and hair. Plus, it had a soft elegance.

Flecked with floral appliqués and accented by ruffle sleeves, the jumpsuit offered a fresh take on ethereal ensembles and provided relief from the onslaught of sheer dresses.

This makes me excited to see what the young actress has in store for us on future red carpets.

Kurt Geiger shoes completed her look.

HFPA & InStyle TIFF Party Roundup

More femmes flaunted their style at the HFPA & InStyle TIFF Party on Saturday (September 9), joining Emma Roberts, Greta Gerwig and Jess Weixler.

Jessica Chastain: The actress took a flirty turn in an Elie Saab Resort 2018 embroidered in swirls of colour; a cleavage-forward look that proved that sexy and sweet can go hand in hand.

Margot Robbie: I loved the retro-mod, rock-star-chic vibe of this Saint Laurent Fall 2017 mini that brought maximum impact via the signature bold shoulder and crystal embellishment to an otherwise minimal LBD.

Dianna Agron: Despite the deep plunge, there was a quietly sophisticated allure that permeated this Schiaparelli gown that featured an ever-so-faintly transparent skirt. This is the kind of sheer I can fully get on board with.
